Welcome! Beas are a species of small, maned creatures.
Beas tend to prefer areas with lots of vegetation. As far as size goes,
they range from as tall as a water bottle to as large as a watermelon!
These petite creatures are incredibly fluffy, with large manes that frame
small faces and rounded ears.
◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢

Their name is relatively accurate to their appearance, as this species’
Main traits are the strange beads that are twined into their tails, and
The bug-like antenna and wings that sprout from them.
As for their social structure, Beas are relatively solitary. They do form “hives”
In a similar fashion as bees, however, they’re usually under bushes and tucked into
Small caves. Some Beas have even been known to dig burrows to build their hive, or
Chase other animals from theirs to claim it. They have yet to be domesticated, but
Some do exist in animal sanctuaries and zoos. Mates tend to be only
Temporary, though, so breeding them in captivity has proven difficult. Often times, the
Female will attack males she does not approve of. And the males are far more timid and shy,
So approaching a raging woman isn’t something they like to do.

Nevertheless, these tiny beings are plentiful in forests worldwide.

To apply as an artist:

Submit examples and a short mini design (chibi, doesn’t have to be wild just give like.. a snapshot)

Artists allowed 1 myo per week, and 1 myo with 2 rare and above traits a month (these 2 traits can be traded in for a subtype)

As well as an applicator for any new traits they contribute

Artists are asked to contribute equal number of Freebeas as myos they use
So if you’d like to cash in on these 1 per week, please at least make 1 bea a week (or 4 a month)

Traits may be passed from parents to children, however, as rarity increases it is less likely they will be passed on. For custom traits, both parents must have the trait.

Custom traits may only be obtained by ordering a custom. They can be most anything you want, and aren’t Avaliable on free adopts- though they may occasionally appear in auctioned adopts.

Examples of custom traits include things like 2 pairs of wings, 1,3 or 4 eyes, extra beads, extra limbs, among other things. Most ideas you have will be accepted.

Exclusive traits are usually for events or holidays. There will always be 4 of each trait released. 2 will be in free adopts, 1 is paid- and the last will always be kept with “my Beas” for the archive, or to revive the trait if the others choose to not breed theirs/decide to get rid of their bea.

Announcement: All beas going forward will only have one bead at the base of their tail.

Gummy beas manifest from discarded sweets in candy factories, and are considered both pests and help as they help clear out the excess/deformed sweets
But if they get into the main factory, they’ll also ruin the good stock

To breed your Beas, you will need to have

☛ owned them for at least 3 days
☛ use a male/female pair (homosexual couples aren’t uncommon within the species,
xi however, they cannot conceive)
☛ Wait for slots to be open

Pups can be as few as 1, or as many as 5.

Any unwanted pups will be returned to me. You cannot sell second generation Beas yourself,

however, you may request a staff member to sell them.
In that case, they can only be sold in C$ so that 50% of proceeds may be return to the artist that made it.
This is to avoid people making a side business out of my species (ie repeatedly breeding and selling their rare Beas)
Exceptions to this case are if you are a PAID breeding. Pups are all yours to do as you please. Trying to find loopholes and bugging me about nitpicky technical things (ie I Paid them a 2019 uncommon //) will result in an immediate ban. I don’t have time for it

There is a cool down of 10 days between each. You do not have to have the same mate each time, and Beas may breed up to 4 times within their lifetime.Beas May now only breed once in their lifetime. I will adjust the archive to reflect this, already bred Beas will have their counter dropped to ZERO. Refreshing drinks will now only replenish the counter to 2. Additionally, there is now a breeding fee of 10 C$. 20 C$ if the Beas are from separate people. If I own 2 of my own Beas and breed them, this is 10 C$. I borrow someone else’s, it is 10 C$ PER PERSON. Paid breedings waive this 20 C$ fee, 10 c$ only.
**A clarification. It is 10 C$ per person! I shouldn’t see one person picking up the breeding fee and the other getting pups from a litter they didn’t assist in pay for!

Pups are born within 5 days, and grow up in 3.
