"Oink! Hello! Welcome to the Cupid's Companions Adoption Agency!"

"My name is Sagitta, and I'll be your guide as you explore the thread."

Cupid's Companions are small creatures about the size of a jawbreaker that are born from pure love. Legend has it that these tiny critters are Cupid's minions, gifted the ability to fly without wings and help people fall in love. In aiding their 'master', however, they somehow got people to fall in love with them!

Now we've created an adoption agency where you can find your own Companions to love and care for.

There's no limit, so adopt to your heart's content!

"Before you get started adopting, we have a few rules to go over to make sure everyone stays happy."




Rules

•Art theft is not allowed anywhere on the site and will be punished. Do not claim any art that I or any artists of mine create. If you draw art of your Companion, that's fine, you can claim that. Just be sure to give credit for the design to the original artist.

•Do not spam the thread. Marking is fine, and so is the occasional bump, but please try to keep messages posted here related to Cupid's Companions.

•Do not steal someone else's Companion. I will most likely be making a couple freebies for users who don't own Companions and want one to put in their signature to support us. In the meantime, feel free to grab a stamp and use that instead.

•Only try out for one Companion per litter. If more than one litter is up, please only fill out a form for a pet in one of the litters.

•No whining or complaining if you don't get a Companion you wanted. There will be more pets in the future, and ample opportunities for you to adopt.

•When posting a form, make sure that you have the provided sections filled out. Partial forms will not be accepted when a litter closes.

•No reserving. If you want a Companion, fill out the provided form, please. I will not hold any Companions for anyone, even artists.

•As of right now, Cupid's Companions are free with exception to customs. This may change in the future for certain types/edits.


Rules may be changed, updated or removed as time goes on.

heart shaped ears and a heart curl to the tail define the pig type Companion

Note that mutations do not change the rarity of your Companion.

Shadow Rings

some Companions are born with shadow rings on various parts of their bodies
these Companions are rumoured to be born of hate instead of love, but this has yet to be proven

Feathered Wings

even though they don't need them to fly, there are some Companions with beautiful feathered wings

Dragon Wings

dragon wings are another variation to the unnecessary wings some Companions bear

Companions will be released in litters of 3+ designs, each with their own unique form and codeword.

Unless otherwise specified, litters will be open for one week each based on the time they are posted. New litters will be released every Sunday between 6:00 pm and 11:59 pm EST, but others may be posted during the week as well, so keep your eyes open for new litter announcements!

Breeding Items


Common Breeding Candy - 25 Arrows
2 candies required to breed a pair (one for each Companion)
when fed to a pair of Companions, allows them to have 1-3 children


Uncommon Breeding Candy - 40 Arrows
2 candies required to breed a pair (one for each Companion)
when fed to a pair of Companions, allows them to have 3-6 children


Rare Breeding Candy - 75 Arrows
2 candies required to breed a pair (one for each Companion)
when fed to a pair of Companions, allowed them to have 6-10 children


Love Potion 42 - 75 Arrows
when added to a breeding, this love potion guarantees that one child will be of a higher rarity than its parents
all other children have a 25% chance of being of a higher rarity
(in the event of two rare type companions breeding, this potion guarantees mutations with the same odds)

Shadow Potion - 50 Arrows
gives a Companion shadow rings in one of five randomly generated positions on their body


Silver Scale - 50 Arrows
gives a Companion a pair of silver and white dragon wings


Golden Scales - 50 Arrows
gives a Companion a pair of golden dragon wings


Black Scale - 50 Arrows
gives a Companion a pair of inky black dragon wings


Rainbow Scale - 75 Arrows
gives a Companion a pair of colored dragon wings
users can pick the color, otherwise, the artist will pick the color that best fits the Companion's design


White Magic Feather - 50 Arrows
gives a Companion a pair of white feathered wings


Brown Magic Feather - 50 Arrows
gives a Companion a pair of brown feathered wings (shades may vary)


Black Magic Feather - 50 Arrows
gives a Companion a pair of dark gray feathered wings (appears black)


Rainbow Magic Feather - 75 Arrows
gives a Companion a pair of colored feathered wings
