The Lost Woods is a long forgotten trove of many secrets.
Many have explored in search for the hidden entrance, but none have succeeded.
On occasion, some have reported sights of abnormal creatures watching them from the rustle of the leaves.
Yet, increased efforts to observe and learn have been left no results.

Sylvan( sketched and lined by winter )
From current observations, we know that these creatures are skilled fliers. Their large, strong wings can generate great gusts of winds and are easily able to carry their weight at fast speeds. A long, flexible tail enables them to make sharp turns in the air. They are the easiest creatures to spot as they spend much of their time flying. However, patient and diligent tracking can wear down their stamina for the chance to capture. Beware, they are able to balance on their legs well and may use their front paws, wings, and jaws to fight any attempts.

Cerian( sketched by winter and lined by fireflii )
Very few live specimens of this creature have been found. Deceased--and often badly decomposed--body parts have been occasionally found along river banks that flow deep in the Lost Woods. These long-bodied creatures lack eyes and have large jaw bones. A handful of specimens have been found with long antennae and what might appear to be luminescent rods. These rods, along with a lack of eyes, suggests these creatures are found far beneath the surface (perhaps underground caves?). But why they have such strong jaws--when nothing larger than shrimp and snails can live so deep in the dark waters is a mystery... No live specimens have been captured.

Nari( sketched by winter and lined by fireflii )
Of the beings thus found in the Lost Woods, these creatures appear to be the most common, but that's not to be confused with easy to document. They strongly resemble modern day foxes, but they have an elongated body (reminiscent of ermines) and long, bushy tails. They are fast on their feet and have no issues squeezing into tight spots, so observing them is difficult as they are quick to flee as soon as they are spotted. However, a few have been successfully spotted from afar, occupied in digging. One explorer claimed their tails are used to help lure or capture prey in some way, but hunting behavior has yet to be observed. Finding an occupied burrow and setting a trap seems to be the most effective capture method.
