Lore:
Scientists. You hear crazy things about them in movies, books, and other fictional stories all the time. Well, this group is no exception. This group of scientists wanted to see just how far they could evolve a species of a rabbit before it got out of hand. And get out of hand it did! This species, named Arbun, escaped lab testing relatively quickly. The scientists got pretty far with their tests and very few remain in the labs. The escapees earned furrier bodies, large front paws, sharp back claws, scales along their chest to the base of their tail, and a long tail with a knife-like weapon escaping from the end. They are very well built for survival and it's quite difficult to hurt one of these Arbuns. They are not only prepared on the outside, but their blood and saliva are venomous. It does not kill, but it does cause a burning sensation (relative to setting your tongue on a hot kitchen burner) for a good minute, definitely enough to deter wild animals.

Species Information:
Arbuns are most notable for their sharp attributes and scaled underside. They are still, in many ways, very similar to rabbits. If you weren't looking close enough, you could very easily mistake an Arbun for an ordinary bun. As stated in the lore section, Arbuns have

furrier bodies, large front paws, sharp back claws, scales along their chest to the base of their tail, and a long tail with a knife-like weapon escaping from the end

which can actually be missed pretty easily, unless you are looking at an attack-ready Arbun. These Arbun look more like the common example seeing as their scales and sharp bits become a more vibrant color. In the wild, these areas are dulled down, but they are still colorful. Examples of the vibrant coloring can be seen on all Arbun. It will be rare to see a wild Arbun in this forum.
