Hi there, welcome to the Rainforest Treasures thread! Here you can adopt animals called Rainforest Treasures.

Somewhere, far, far away from humans, hides a beautiful rainforest protected from man-kind's sometimes cruel acts.
This forest's existence is kept hidden to many due to its rare trees and unknown animals…
Some say it is even surrounded by some kind of magic or even a spirit, which protects the woods and its inhabitants.
A few humans have seen this place, though. It is believed only the ones with pure intentions can enter the forest and meet its animals.

A lot of the forest's animals usually become enthralled by these humans, and some decide to follow them back to their new homes, where they live happily as pets.

They are now being bred and adopted by different humans, but the secret has been kept - they are simply believed to come from already discovered rainforests or to be results of breeding of known animals.

New species are discovered almost each visit - but those visits are not very frequent since not a lot of people can enter the secret Rainforest…

As of now, five types of animal have been tamed successfully. They are all available for adoptions, but not at the same time!

Rainforest cats !

Cats are very common in the Rainforest and they love humans. They can be of any colour, and are bigger than ordinary domestic cats.
They mainly feed on pineapple and fish.

Rainforest dogs !

Rainforest dogs are a bit less common than cats but seeing one isn't very surprising either. They are a bit shyer but if you are carrying any kind of fruit with you, they will appear sooner or later. It is with fruits that you tame them as well.
They eat fruits only. It has been noticed that they dislike grapes, though.

Rainforest squirrels !

Rainforest squirrels are uncommon due to their secretive nature and small size. Their fur can be of any colour except for purple. Once their shyness and fear is gone though, they become very attached to their human. They used to be fed with normal nuts, but they quickly started suffering of obesity. To keep your squirrel healthy, you need to feed it fruit seeds.

Rainforest toucans !

Rainforest toucans are very similar to regular toucans. The only difference is that they can be of any colour and pattern, and that they absolutely love oranges. They are hard to find though, and once they are found they might not want to have contacts with humans. The only thing that marks them as rare and not very rares is that once they laid eggs they do not take care of them, making it easy for the Rainforest's visitors to take them.

Rainforest lizards !

Rainforest lizards are very rare, beautiful creatures. They hide in between the trees' roots and bury their eggs deep in the ground to protect them. Rainforest lizards enjoy eating bugs and leaves.
Very few people saw one, and even less were able to approach or tame one. They might be solitary and mysterious at first, but once they become someone's pet, they will be very loyal to them.

New species are discovered once in a while, they will be added here along with their rarity!

Breeding costs:
70 for cats
90 for dogs and squirrels
125 for toucans
275 for lizards.
If breeding with another user's animal, the price can be shared between the two.
If one of the animals is a custom, add ten pineapple slices to the original price.

There can only be two slots at a time, and the two animals need to be of the same species (cat with cat, dog with dog, etc)

If the two animals are owned by the same person, the owner may keep one of the offsprings. If they are owned by two different users, they will each choose their favourite one. The rest will go to the shop and be sold to other users.
When an animal has been bred, you must wait fourty days before it can breed again.

Cats have two to five kittens.
Dogs have one to eight puppies.
Squirrels have two to seven babies.
Toucans lay two or three eggs.
Lizards lay from twelve to twenty eggs.
