general
These are the general rules governing the Snail Racing Association™. When you adopt or race a snail in this facility you are agreeing to these rules. Penalties will apply to those who do not follow these rules.

✘ You cannot sell your snail. If you no longer want it, message renneka and it will be put up for re-adoption.
✘ Snails must not be taken off Chicken Smoothie or uploaded on other sites
✘ You can currently own up to 5 snails.
✘ Cheating is not tolerated and will be punished.
✘ If you are banned, your snails will taken off you and re-adopted.
✘ Stealing or editing any of the snails/my art is in no way tolerated. Your snails will be revoked and you will be banned.

Racing
✘ You must wait two weeks between applying for races

Customs
➡ Payment must be sent (or the correct funds in your bank) before your order is started
➡ Once you receive your custom, you can: readopt it, trade

Breeding
➡ You must get written permission to breed your snail with another's snail
➡ You can do whatever you want with your baby snail: trade, readopt, or keep
➡ If breeding with another person's snail, the owner of the baby can do whatever they want with it

one of the nicer species of snails to train and race! Great for kids

Habitat: Window sills, balconies, sides of houses
Personality: Even tempered snails, usually a delight to train and care!
Average speed: Fast

entering a race
There are two types of races: individual and all-in races. Individual races race your snail against pretend snails. Results are generated randomly.
You can boost the chances of you winning by adding items and boosts to your snail. (Restrictions: Your snail can only wear two items at once and use only two boosts in its lifetime.)
When you have a certain amount of wins you can level up.When you level up, you can unlock access to special tracks.

Level 1- Beginner
Level 2 - Level 3 - Intermediate
Level 4 - Expert
Level 5 - Champion

Higher level tracks have chances of dropping better rewards. Rewards can only be won by coming first. They are also randomly rolled.

By racing your snail, you are agreeing to these rules.
✘ You can only use 2 boost items per snail.
✘ Race results are randomly generated. You can read more about that here
✘ Complaining/guilt tripping/etc about results will not be tolerated at all.
✘ Your snail can only race once every two weeks

Types of race tracks
Please check the requirements for the race track! Some tracks are suited to certain species of snails.

BEGINNER TRACKS




the good ol' garden path track

A common venue for beginners. Most champion snails will remember this racetrack fondly as their first few race wins. Surrounded by bushes and lush greenery, this a favourite track in summer!

REQUIREMENTS
➡ Species: This track is suitable for all snails.
➡ Level required: 0 +

Rewards: 1st - 80 coins, 2nd - 60 coins, 3rd - 40 coins
Bonuses: Chance of winning a scarf item: 20%






A racetrack with gorgeous views

A gravelly beach race track with amazing costal views. This racetrack sits on the edge of a beach where spectators are treated to wonderful views. This track is suitable for sea snails.

REQUIREMENTS
➡ Species: Sea snails
➡ Level required: 0 +

Rewards: 1st - 80 coins, 2nd - 60 coins, 3rd - 40 coins
Bonuses: Chance of winning a shell bow (20%)







a slick technological track

Set on an office desk, the shiny screens of laptops and computers line the raceway. An indoor venue, suited to pixel snail species.

REQUIREMENTS:
➡ Species: Suitable for all pixel snails.
➡ Level required: 0 +

Reward: 1st - 80 coins, 2nd - 60 coins, 3rd - 40 coins
Bonuses: Chance of dropping pink berries (10%)




INTERMEDIATE TRACKS




a cool leafy track

Another beginner venue, Leafen Valley is deep in the undergrowth, providing cool shade in the heat of summer. Come to Leafen Valley just to see the amazing foliage and greenery!

REQUIREMENTS:
➡ Species: Suitable for all snails
➡ Level: 2+

Rewards: 1st - 100 coins, 2nd - 80 coins, 3rd - 60 coins
Bonuses: Chance of winning garden upgrade item. (40%)



EXPERT TRACKS




a shiny, prestigious track

An elite track, the Golden Cup is where experts become champions.

REQUIREMENTS
➡ Species: Suitable for all snails
➡ Level required: 4+

➡ Rewards: 1st - 150 coins, 2nd - 100 coins, 3rd - 80 coins
➡ Bonuses: Chance of winning semi-custom - 30%

Adopt a snail here! It is uncertain when snails will come in, we source our snails from several locations whether weather and season are a factor. Some snails will be a free adoption, some will cost CS pets and the elite snails can be bought with DA points and C$.

If you want to swap your snail or no longer want it, please message renneka with your snail! It will be put up here for free adoption. It will be stripped of its items but will keep its racing records.
Once a snail has been put up for readoptions, we're looking for an owner who will care for the snail. Please only claim the readoptions if you have time to look after them. (lol) Readoptions are FCFS. If you have adopted a regular import in the last seven days, you cannot claim a readoption.

This is where you can get special snails imported sort of to your liking! As we cannot guarantee what species we get for you, you may not get the exact species of snail you were after, but the rarity will be what you paid for.
Please read this whole post before ordering!

Rules:
➤ You must send the payment after posting the form or I will ignore your order.
➤ You can only order when the shop is open/there are slots available
➤ One custom per person per month
➤ There is a chance you may not get the snail species you want
➤ No complaining about prices or which snail you get. If you don't like it, trade it.

ⓘ Please note: Snail species that are only available at certain times at the year can ONLY be ordered when they are available.

how it all works
There are three tiers of custom snails: Common, Uncommon, and Rare. I will use random.org to generate which species of snail your custom will be out of the rarity pool. For example: there are currently two common species of snails: the Pixel and the Garden snail. I randomly generate a number between one and two and it spits out a 1. Your custom will be a garden snail. You can buy special items which will guarantee you a certain breed of snail. These can be found in the shop.shop.
There is only a limited amount of customs I will do for each rarity as I want to keep the rare snails ... rare.

Breeding
How to get the perfect racing snail? By breeding of course! The higher rarity of the parents, the better the offspring. We have a special way of figuring out what rarity your snail baby will be, see here. Snails only have one baby but there are rare chances of getting twins. If you would like twins, please purchase the boost in the shop.

ⓘ Tip: breeding two snails of the same rarity/species will guarantee your baby will the same rarity/species as the parents!

The level system is a way for you to train your snail and gain extra racing points for your snail! These are optional and are a good way of developing your snail's character. Each level has its own rewards so it's worth doing! More levels will be added.

Please note:
➤ When you go up to the next level, your race wins/artwork/story counter resets. So by the time you reach level 4, your snail will have won six races.
➤ Once your snail has reached a certain level, please post or PM this form to Renneka so she can confirm your achievement and update your record.
