bobbles are a small, man-made creatures. the common bobble has a squishy, jelly-like body, and they come in a variety of colors and designs. their size can vary anywhere from the size of a thumb nail to the size of a grown man's hand. they get their name from their large head. they are agender, and may breed with any bobble of their choosing by having a bit of their dna mixed with their mate's in a vial. a common misconception is that due to them being man-made, they don't feel emotion- however, bobbles are very affectionate and sociable creatures, and have the ability to feel as much emotion as any other living creature.

bobbles are most commonly created in batches of 3-5. adoptions may be carried out in one of three ways - fcfs, raffle, or a guessing game. you are allowed to try for as many as you like, but you can only win one bobble per batch.

bobbles currency is in the form of ingredients
an ingredient is 1 C$ or the pet equivalent i also value certain pets higher if they're hoard/wl/certain species!

bobbles are genderless, and can breed with any bobble of their choosing. they can lay anywhere from 2-5 eggs. the owners each get to pick one egg from the clutch. in order to access the breeding lab, you must have a breeding vial bought from the shop.

very rarely, the lab will be open for people to come in and request a bobble to be made specifically for them. they are able to choose the colors, design, and mutations. must have a custom vial first.

the lab also offers another sort of custom. this allows the scientists at bobble lab to experiment. all you must provide is 5-25 ingredients, the more ingredients provided, the higher chance of a mutation (common-uncommon) showing up. you may provide colors/a palette, but the design is completely randomized.
