♕ MESSENGER FOXES ♕

Messenger Foxes are the miniature and devious disciples of the messenger goddess Mercurius. Now, you may ask this; why is there an adoption centre for them? They are highlight intelligent foxes with magical abilities who are protected by a goddess, aren't they? Yes, yes they are. However, in order to make delivery efficient and exact, these foxes are placed with worthy people all over the world; they leave their homes to deliver messages when it is required, then return to their human companions until the next delivery. What these foxes deliver, no one knows; to any human attempts to read it, the scroll will appear blank. Magic, I suppose.
In order to deliver with ease, Messenger Foxes use winged boots for travel, and scroll belts for carrying letters. If you ask, the flying boots definitely clue us into magic. No skepticism here!

♕ Messenger Foxes cannot be traded for on-site or off-site currency, but they can be traded by
exchange of other
Messenger Fox related items (currency, items, Messenger Foxes, etc.). I should be informed of all
trades and their conditions.
♕ Only apply for one Messenger Fox per litter.
♕ For FCFS (first come, first serve) litters, you may only adopt once a day. So, if there are two litters
up at a time, you can still only adopt one Messenger Fox.
♕ Do not rush me or any of the other staff, no body enjoys it.
♕ If a Messenger Fox does not belong to you, do not use it. No exceptions.
♕ Please, no spam. This thread is exclusively for forms and stuff, everything else goes on the fan club
thread.

♕ Everyone must be respected; being part of the staff does not mean you are better than anyone.
♕ Artists should not use very dark colours (i.e. black, navy blue), or any colours that make the line art
hard to see.
♕ If a staff member is absent for more than a month without notice, they will be removed for their
position.
♕ Minor line-edits can be made, so long as the artist gets my permission first.
♕ A guest artists' term ends after they have made five litters, or after the month is over; whichever
comes first.
♕ Artists cannot enter for a Messenger Fox in a litter they have made. All Tess' rules apply.

♕ COMMON ♕

These are the default characteristics of a Messenger Fox. A fox with these characteristics would be of common rarity.

♕ UNCOMMON ♕

Uncommon traits affect the tail most often, and sometimes small add-ons, like spines or horns. Foxes with these characteristics would be considered uncommon. Available for customs.
cat tail, squirrel tail

♕ RARE ♕

Rare traits often include wings and tail mutations, and sometimes other add-ons. Winged Foxes still wear boots, but they do not have wings. Foxes with these characteristics would be considered rare. Available for customs.

Since first generation Messenger Foxes are born by magical means, they are completely customizable; in exchange for our help, Mercurius helps us keep the centre open by providing the custom service. If you wish to order a custom, you've just got to fill out the form provided and post it. However, if there are no slots open, please do not submit a form.

♕ BREEDING ♕

With the use of a pink scroll - which can be purchased from the shop - we can get Messenger Foxes to breed. They're usually bred in litters of two to four. If you wish to breed your Foxes, simply fill out and post the form provided. If you are breeding one of your Foxes with another user's Fox, you must have evidence of their confirmation included in the form.
Messenger Foxes have a thirty-day cool-down after breeding, and cannot breed again until it is over.
