What are Sombras?
Sombras dogs are shadow dogs, not your typical evil dog
but more like kind afterlife companions. When your
normal typical dog dies they eventually, depending on
their behavior, their good deeds, etc, they can get recarnated
as living dog's shadows only able to be seen by what we call
"Sombsees", living everyday people born with the magical ability
to see Sombras during the night.

History
There was once a labador retiver who was very old,
he lived in a nice household in the country, there he
lived with his family. In that family was a little girl,
who he loved very much. They grew up together, played,
and other things. But the girl outlived him which was to be
expected, as the lab was already old. But the dog couldn’t bear
once he was already in the sprit world. So a kind generous sprit cast
a spell. So sombras were made.

Descriptions
Physical
Physical (what you see) features
They have a natural or unatural base color coat with unnatural or natural
colored swirls that are either lighter or darker than their base coat. Those colors
come from either 2 sombra parents that pass down their swirl gene to their living
pup (the pup has no swirls until it dies), or 2 living parents where the colors are 100%
random. There will never be a living and sombra cross. No matter how hard we try.
The swirls appear all over the sombra on their legs, back, heads, and tail. They can also
have natural breed markings, (EX. The Dalmation)The majority of the sombra's take form of
normal dog breeds. but its very rare for them to take the form of another speices that is part
of Canis Lupus genus speices. Examples of this are Grey Wolves, Dingos, Arabian wolves, etc.
This is considered very rare and there is a 10% chance for sombra's living young to do this also
when they die.

Physical (what you feel) features
The Sombsees are the only ones that can see them so they are the only ones that can feel them.
The breed they decied to take form of decides how they will feel, example if they take form of
a Newfoundland you will feel a thick coat but if they take form of a Whippet you will feel a
smooth coat

Shadow
In this form they are in place of dog's shadows of their respective
breeds to go to sleep. Not even the Sombsees can differitiante between just a
normal shadow or a sombra shadow because there is no way how to.

Common
Lineart stays as is, no acessories, Natural base colored is a breed not a wolf or rare breed, has no powers has 1 colored swrils

Uncommon-Rare
some lineart/breed edits/mutations, might have unatural base color 1-2 acess. may be wolf/rare breed hybrid, may have 2-3 colored swirls

Rare-Very Rare
Multiple acessories from their past life, heavy edits, pure wolves/rare breed, many different colored swirls 4+ small powers

Legendary EVENTS

Many edits to the lineart, many accessories from past life, can be seen by both humans and sombsees, usually always wolves/or sacred breed, over 4+ different colored swrils, amazing powers[/center]

What is a MYO?
MYO stands for Make your Own and is a great oppertunity to make your own adoptable with certain traits and colors that you enjoy.
Why are you holding this event?
I'm holding this event mainly because these guys need some more attention, I don't want the speices to die out, and I want my artists and the archivests to have something to do!
Alrighty I'm intrested! Whats the first step?
First off these MYO's are FREE!! Yay right!? But order to get your MYO you have to follow these steps
1: Read up on the traits! PM me if you don't understand something!
2: Please make a ref. of your Sombra on this base by POOCKY and send it to me and pinkunicorn then I approve and make it on custom lines
3: Wait to see if it approved! If it is wait for me to place it on an offical sombra lineart!

Some rules to follow
No legendary traits!
Look up dog breeds! Sombras can be any breed in the world! They are in reincarnations of their past life! and when you make the MYO tell me what breed they are! Thats just so I don't make your wiener dog sombra as a husky!
