hello! Welcome to Tynine adoptions! An adoption center that creates, sells, and breeds Tynines, an original species thought up by minette. Tynines (pronounced "tie-nine") is a tiny canine creature so small that it can fit in the palm of one's hand! They're built like regular-sized canines, but come in a variety of different colors and patterns so as to appeal to their human friends. Due to their small size, Tynines are purely domestic creatures and cannot be found in the wild. Because of their unlimited coat colors and patterns, no two Tynines are the same, which make them great pets as each Tynine can appeal specifically to their owner for a stronger bond.
To the right is my own Tynine, Strawberry, the Tynine Adoption Center mascot! The two of us have dedicated our lives to helping Tynines find loving humans to live with, and created this adoption center to do so. Here you can adopt, create customs, and even buy items for Tynines.

Tynine general rules
➤ all cs and Tess rules apply here
➤ please don't spam (questions + comments are allowed)
➤ art theft will not be tolerated in our adoption center!
➤ staff applications aren't allowed unless stated otherwise
➤ be nice and polite
➤ off-site use is not allowed without permission from a mod
➤ be respectful of staff and other Tynine adopters
➤ please link to this shop when posting Tynines elsewhere
➤ do not pester staff about adoptions
➤ don't complain if you don't get a certain Tynine

Tynine adoption rules
➤ Tynines will be adoptable as soon as they are announced
➤ only one Tynine out of each litter is allowed per user
➤ forms must be 100% filled out before they are even considered
➤ begging is not appreciated
➤ reserves are not allowed (no post editing)
➤ there is a two day cooldown between adoptions
➤ name changes are okay
➤ if you own 10 or more Tynines, you may only adopt twice a month
➤ all Tynines are subject to being bred without permission (not customs)
➤ don't name your Tynine after a show/movie/book character

Tynine staff rules
➤ staff applications aren't allowed unless stated otherwise
➤ staff applications must be sent to me through PM
➤ STAFF MUST GIVE REASONS FOR HANDING OUT BANS/WARNINS WITH EXPLANATIONS AND LINKS TO POSTS (if necessary)
➤ artists must be able to make the equivalent of one batch of Tynines per month
➤ artists must use the current lineart, but can submit new ideas for lineart changes/ items to me via PM
➤ mods must be able to handle the thread and must be professional
➤ general helpers must be friendly and be able to frequently answer questions
➤ absent staff must notify me before hand
➤ staff members that have not made any appearance in 1 month will be demoted/removed from the staff list
➤ artists must be able to provide 3 or more examples of their artwork when sending applications
➤ each staff member is awarded one free custom Tynine when they join the team
➤ only mods can hand out bans, but general helpers can give out warnings
➤ if artists don't specify litters when submitting created Tynines, their Tynines will be cycled in at random

What are traits?

Traits are small changes that can be made to a Tynine that make their appearance just a little bit different from the average (no-trait) Tynine. Just like traits in dog breeds, some Tynine traits are rarer than others. There are currently five known traits that can be genetically added or bred onto a Tynine and one that cannot, but scientists are always working to find more. And don't worry! Tynine's aren't harmed during the testing. The current Tynine traits are Loyal, Pampered, Piebald, Buggy, Winged, and Pupcake.
The Loyal trait is common amongst Tynine's, and there's usually at least one Loyal Tynine in each weekly litter. There is a whopping 50% chance in every Tynine to have the Loyal trait.
The Pampered trait is uncommon, only sometimes will there be a Pampered Tynine in the weekly litter and there's hardly ever more than one. There is a 35% chance in every Tynine to have the Pampered trait.
The Piebald trait is uncommon and only appears in the weekly litter every once in a while, and there's hardly ever more than one. There is a 35% chance in every Tynine to have the Piebald trait.
The Buggy trait is uncommon, there wont always be a Buggy Tynine in the weekly litter. There is a 30% chance in every Tynine to have the Buggy trait.
The Winged trait is mysterious and rare. Tynine's with the Winged trait are usually genetically modified to have it, so there's rarely ever one in the weekly litter. There's only a 5% chance in every Tynine to have the Winged trait, and is raised only by 10% if both of the Tynine's parents have the trait.
The Pupcake trait is the rarest known Tynine trait. It cannot be bred or genetically added to a Tynine, and seems to only ever appear on staff's CS birthdays. There is a 0% chance that a Tynine in the weekly litter will have the Pupcake trait, but on a staffer's birthday that chance is raised to a full 100%.

What art programs are used to make Tynines?

minette. uses Clip Studio Paint and a Wacom drawing tablet. hyperthymesia. also uses Clip Studio Paint.

How are Tynine's that get bred chosen?

Artists pick two older Tynine's that they like and then create the babies that would come from that pair. That's about it. All previously adopted Tynine's are subject to breeding. The only Tynine's that wont be bred without permission of the owner are customs.

this is where you can adopt pre-made Tynines. It is first come, first serve to all forms that are filled out completely. Mods, Artists, and General Helpers can also adopt from here (although Artists cannot adopt their own Tynines) and receive no special treatment over regular adopters.
Each user is only allowed one Tynine per litter, so choose wisely! New Tynines are cycled in at least once a week.

sadly, not every Tynine gets adopted right away. When old Tynine get cycled out of the Adoption Center above, they get put into the pound. These Tynines can still be adopted, though! They've been here for so long, they'd love to have a forever home!

Tynine scientists have recently discovered that Tynines can breed, but only under very strict circumstances. Since this discovery, the scientists have created a lovely spot that tends to all of these circumstances, in order to breed Tynines and study the effect of traits and genes on offspring. This is done once a week and, when they've taken down their data, the scientists then give us the Tynine offspring to put up for adoption!
Because Tynines grow up relatively quickly, there's usually only a one-two day wait period before we get the offspring. But during that wait, you can check below to see which two Tynines are currently being bred.

Custom Tynines
this is where you can buy custom-made Tynine's that are exactly what you want, like my own custom Strawberry

you'll need to be very specific, though, as Artists are allowed to decline any custom Tynine's forms that are too difficult/vague. These customs will also cost a lot of Golden Bones as they are ten times harder to make than Tynines in the weekly litter.
Custom Tynines may not be modeled after show characters, other people's art/characters, copyrighted content, etc. Custom Tynines must be your own design (this includes personal ocs, those are allowed).

Golden Bones are the currency used in the Thynine Adoption Center. When you want to buy something (whether it be Tynines, items, or customs), you pay in Golden Bones. Golden Bones then go into the bank to give back to other adopters (but sometimes, the staff eat them...)
But how do you get Golden Bones? Well, you trade for them with CS pets/items/dollars. Below is a list of conversions you can use when paying for Golden Bones. But feel free to haggle prices.
