what went down... many years ago?
according to folk legend, forgelings were once wicked and evil dragons, known as forlorns. not much is known about forlorns apart from the fact that they were extremely skilled in dark magic and basically living nightmares. anywho, one fateful day a forlorn and an ithos (pure dragon) were fighting, each drew blood which mixed together, creating the first forgeling with the creation element.
modern day forgelings.
forgelings are keepers of elements, each with their own color. they are often split up into groups of rarity by their element. eg. higher rank = rarer element. they thrive as a community on a not-so-far cluster of planets, some travelling to different clusters of planets/dimensions. forgelings dont have a gender but respond to most pronouns. they/them is most common.

Those feathers make this Forgeling look pretty fancy! How did they get them? Why do they wear them? Write a story about it!

They are a Goo elemental so if you incorporate their powers into it somehow, that would be some good bonus!
