They only show themselves once they have been adopted.

TYPES OF PERFUME BOTTLES AND CANDLES YOU CAN ADOPT

Hello and welcome to The Haunted Aroma Shop.
Thank you for stopping in.
Make yourself at home and embrace all the scents surrounding you.
Oh, you heard this place is haunted? Well you would be correct.
I hope you don't mind ghosts.

There are different perfume bottles and candles that can be adopted.
Sometimes there will only be one ghost per bottle/candle.
Sometimes there will be multiple ghosts.
You will find out once all the bottles/candles have been adopted.

Ghost that have been discovered so far:
The images below are just some examples.
They all have owners.

Common ghosts

"They are ghosts who have been in love, but then had their hearts broken.
They now spend their days crying out to anyone who will listen."

Uncommon ghosts

"They guard their perfume bottles and will bite anyone who tries to touch it.
Rumor has it that the bite mark they give you will remain there for the rest of your life."

"They prefer to stay in the perfume bottle.
If someone squeezes on the circle, a little ghost will pop out.
It will scare away whoever disturbed it,
then it will nibble on the circle, squeezing them out to their preferred size."

These little ghosts saw the flame burning on a candle and wanted to mimic it.
They keep their eyes closed in hopes to trick people into thinking they really are a flame instead of a little ghost.
To keep the ghosts around, people pretend that they really are flames.

Rare Ghosts

These little ghosts saw the smoke the flame left when it was put out and wanted to mimic it.
They scatter in all directions, but never break apart.
While the flame ones try to hide that they are ghosts, these ghosts are not afraid to reveal that they are ghosts, not smoke.
People tend to be less fond of these ghosts because of it.

Despite it seeming that there are two ghosts, there is actually only one. One of the faces of the ghost is the person's positive traits, whilst the other is the negative traits. You might think that the grinning one is the positive traits and the frowning one is the negative traits, but that isn't always the case. The frowning ghost may just be frowning to show that they won't back down and the smiling ghost may be smiling at a mean trick they just played. You can never be quite sure which is the good side...
The two faces can never be separated, which is tough luck for them because they rarely enjoy each other's company!

These kinds of ghosts tend to have 3 different personalities, each with their own opinion. Most people think that they are the same. They don't like people who think that way. They are instead like fraternal triplets. Sometimes people describe them as 'Heaven, Earth, and Hell'. The one on the top is the most kind of the three and the one on the bottom is the most devilish. They don't like to show off their true personalities even though they have them. Instead, they just keep a straight and innocent face.

Very Rare Ghosts

Too many ghosts were trying to hide in this small bottle that they became trapped in there.
They are unable to get out by themselves so they wait for the day that someone uses the perfume and sets them all free.
Once out of the bottle, the ghosts become loyal to the person who saved them.

Special Ghosts

These are any ghosts that show up only for special events.
I will mark in the code-drop thread if your ghost is a special ghost.

RULES FOR ADOPTING

For the First Shelf:
1. You may only adopt 1 perfume bottle/candle per shelf.
2. This is not first come, first serve.
It is done in a raffle style.
3. To adopt, you fill out the form and post it.
4. I will select at random the winners for the perfume bottles/candles of each shelf.
5. Please do not complain if you do not get one. There will be plenty of chances to win one.
6. For the last question on the form, there is no right or wrong answer.
I am just curious and would like to see what you will write.
7. You may trade official ghosts,
but you have to let me know what ghosts are being traded and who you are trading with.
If you do not let me know, the trade will not be confirmed.
Please discuss trades in the Fanclub thread.

Each weekend, there will be a new shelf full of perfume bottles/candles.
The winners of the previous shelf along with the code drop will be posted before the next shelf is.
I would like to have at least one shelf per week.
