An Adoption Center for Fresh Water Marine Life

Are you fascinated with fresh-water marine life? You probably know of the funny ducks and the geese, and the scary alligators that swim near the surface, but do you know about marine life below the surface? Sure, you've probably seen the tadpoles swimming in their groups. Maybe you've even spotted a bunch of water beetles diving into the muddy depths of the cold water. But did you know that the larvae of dragonflies spend their childhood in ponds? Or that you might have been looking at a salamander's babies when you saw those young tadpoles? From tadpoles to minnows, we have it all! And you can adopt them as pets!

So what are you waiting for? Dive on in!

Just like most adoption centers, we
have rules. They shouldn't be hard to follow, so please be sure
to read them!

1. Be polite to everyone, please. Everybody wants to
be treated
nicely, right?
2. Art theft is not tolerated here. Ever.
3. Do not claim the Frog Pond adoption center as
your own. This is considered art theft.
4. Do not complain about anything here, no
matter how bad your day has been already.
5. Do not beg.
6. Do not mini mod. It is seen as rude, and we will
already have staff members for this job.
7. Please don't spam. Spam includes one word posts
like "Marking!", useless posts, advertising, etc.
(Please ask me via. PM if you want to be affiliates
with The Frog Pond.)
8. Do not pressure staff to finish your breeding, make
more litters, etc. We have lives outside of CS, at different
times you do, and those things often need to come first.
(This rule can be broken once if the staff seems to
have forgotten it (Ex. it has been a month since you posted
your form to breed your pets and it still hasn't been finished.).
Please remember to be polite when you ask.)

Warnings, Strikes, And Bans

A Warning is given when a minor rule is broken
once. If you get three Warnings, you will receive one
Strike.
There are currently no warnings and
no strikes and no bans. Yay!

A Strike is given when a larger rule is broken,
or when you have received three Warnings. Once
you receive three Strikes, you will be given a Ban.

A Ban is given when three Strikes are received
or when a very important rule is broken. You may
receive a temporary ban or a permanent ban
depending on the broken rule. Being banned means
that your staff position (If you have one) will be
revoked temporarily and you will not be allowed to
post on any of the Frog Pond threads until your ban
has been lifted. If you have received a permanent ban,
your staff position will be permanently revoked and
all of your pets from this adoption center will be taken
from you and given out in the pound to other players.
You will not get the pets back.

To sum it all up, you just have to follow the rules.

Adoptions

This is the main area that you will adopt from. It's not large, but its definitely bigger than your average puddle. We have a variety of creatures here, some being rarer than others. Check out the Field Guide to see all of the species.

Before you adopt, why don't we go over some of the specific rules for this area?

1. You may try to adopt one creature per litter released. Litters will be released every weekend.
2. The form must be filled out completely.
3. This is NOT a first-come first-serve adoption center! You can try out for any creature you like, but all forms will be put in a raffle and winners will be decided through random.org.
4. Please don't ask when the next litter will be up. Our artists are hard at work making it, and a new litter will always be up in a week.
5. Please do not complain if the creature that you wanted wasn't won by you. It makes others feel bad and is likely to get you a warning.
6. Tanks are not automatically updated with new arrivals, like some other adoptables, so every weekend a updated tank code-drop will occur during the release of the new litter.
