Follow the rules or you get a warning. After three warnings, you are put on the blacklist.

*****ADOPTING RULES*****
-You may only adopt 1 fox a day, 1 fox per batch, 1 fox per litter, and 1 fox per group
-When asking for kits from litters, do not edit the post later to add the parents' names. You must put the parents' names in or else it is unfair to those who take the time to put the names in when you post "female name and male name" If I catch anyone doing this, you will be disqualified from adopting from that litter
-It is acceptable to say "Can I name later?" or "Can I name it when I see it/it grows up?" But do not neglect to name it for too long. I expect most everyone to name their foxes BEFORE they grow up. If you don't name your fox before it grows up into an adult, I will most likely name it something for you. You may or may not like the name. (You can change it later)
-Any name changes are okay, PM or post what you want to change it to
-I do not do customs
-Do not complain about missing a litter/batch/group, as it is only spam and is very annoying. If you missed a litter/batch/group, tough luck. There will be more
-Have patience, and put all spam in the chat!
-Do not edit your forms under any circumstances
-If you have more than 10 foxes, you can only adopt once a month. If you have more than 15, you cannot adopt unless from a fox you bred or special occasions (holidays, contests, etc)

If you cheat on a litter by editing the names in, you get a 3 day suspension from adopting. This means you cannot try for the parents, and if any litters/batches/groups happen to be put out in the next 3 days prior to your suspension, you cannot adopt from those either.

This is because so many people edit before I can see what they edited for, so its hard to catch cheaters! If you spell a parent fox's name wrong- LEAVE IT! I won't not count your forms for mispellings and typos.
If you spell the name you want to give your fox wrong- LEAVE IT! And tell me the correct way later.
If you typo something- LEAVE IT! I don't care about typos

If you DO edit your form, whether it be for typo or cheating, or changing the number of the fox you want because it was already taken, IT WILL NOT BE COUNTED. So BE WARNED!

I hate to start getting strict about the rules, but I'm starting to worry that too many people are getting away with cheating. We want it to be fair! Typos and misspellings don't matter to me, they don't need to be fixed.
So if you want a fox, DON'T EDIT YOUR POST!

If you are put on the blacklist, that means you broke three or more rules, or broke the same rule/rules more than once. If you are on the blacklist you can not adopt any adoptables and any adoptable/adoptables you may own perviously will be put up for adoption again in the pound and will no longer be yours. Bat-Eared Fox Information
The bat-eared foxes that roam here are different from most bat-eared foxes, mainly noticable in their coloring. These bat-eared foxes are known not as Otocyon megalotis, the common bat-eared fox's scientific name, but as Otocyon megacolato. They have a very wide variety of colors. Most of these colored bat-eared foxes normally have a natural colored base, but can have any color of markings. Some have an unnatural colored base, the colors of these foxes are endless.
The typical bat-eared fox has large, round ears. They are not fennec foxes, as they are larger and have thicker, softer fur. Their ears are large and rounded. The tails are average size for a fox, not short but not long either, that have the normal fluffyness most fox tails have. The colored bat-eared foxes have the temperment and disposition of more of a house pet, less skittish like the wild bat-eared fox. They like human company, but are more like a cat than a dog, as they do not have the pack animal personality, they are more independent.
Bat-eared foxes can be adopted from a batch, litter, or group*. The breeding center opens once and a while and you are able to submit a form to have your fox bred with your own or someone else's fox. Litters can range from 2-6 kits, foxes with mutations such as wings that are bred are likely to have a smaller litter than foxes without mutations. Mutations are uncommon, normally only appearing in special foxes from holiday themed releases or special occasions.

Also here, there is the rare winged weasel creature. Not much is known about them, though some claim to have seen one of these cuddly little creatures roaming about the thread. Weasels, like foxes, can range from any color normally with a natural colored base and unnatural markings, but coon-tails are common in weasels. Wings are normally white.
Weasels are known to glomp anyone who passes and enjoys human company perhaps a little too much, sometimes they won't leave you alone. They can be sneaky ninjas, the only thing giving them away are their long, fluffy tails. If weasels were to be bred, they would only have 1-3 babies in the litter.
Weasels are known to leave their newborn offspring with fox litters and have them adopted instead of keeping them, but this is rare. They also seem to appear during special occasions and holiday releases. They might be cute and cuddley, but you must be warned- the adorableness can harm.

○ Q: When is the next litter/batch coming out?
○ A: Foxes are released randomly, Ember normally doesn't tell anyone when that'll be (the chat is a good place to start, but if you just come in and ask when it'll be released, it's unlikely you'll get an answer)

○ Q: Can I have a fox/custom fox?
○ A: No, I do not do customs foxes, even for pets, even if those pets were something as good as a sun jewel.

○ Q: Can you PM me when the next litter comes out?
○ A: No, it's my job to make the adoptables, not notify when they come out. It wouldn't do you much good anyway, foxes are snatched up pretty quickly.

○ Q: Can I be an artist/mod/staff for BEF?
○ A: If I'm looking for any staff, I'll probably post that on the thread, otherwise no.

○ Q: Can I suggest a design for a fox?
○ A: This used to be a yes, as long as it isn't a characters/fursona of yours or from TV shows, movies, bookes, comics, etc; But now I'm going to have to say no. I don't do themes and most people suggest themes, saying things like "dog breeds" or "horses" is a theme. Some artists do themes, like LightBlueAqua and her feeshfoxes, but most of us don't. Themes are a holiday-only thing for me, and that is probably the only time I'll ever do them. Logos are a definant no- I don't think they'd look good on a fox and these foxes are supposed to be induvidual adoptables, not pictures. Things with major edits are also a no. So NO MORE SUGGESTIONS, please. It was unlikely we'd do the suggestions anyways. ;3

○ Q: Can foxes be bred more than once?
○ A: No. Foxes can only be bred ONE TIME ONLY, whether they are user pair's or created litters, they will not be able to breed again.

○ Q: Aren't these just fennec foxes?
○ A: No. Google Bat-Eared foxes, you will get your answer. Fennec foxes and bat-eared foxes aren't even within the same species.

○ Q: Can you release foxes that are for ONLY people who don't have foxes?
○ A: I have thought this over before, but due to the amount of people who whine and complain about it, most likely no. Events are your easiest chance to get a fox- lots of foxes are released and there is always a limit to how many one can adopt. Plus, I have added new regulations on foxes. If you have more than 10 foxes, you can only adopt once a month, and if you have more than 15, you can only adopt in events. This is in hopes that more people will get foxes, but remember, I do not make it easier for those with many foxes to adopt. They do the same amount of working stalking as any other player without a fox would.

How to Adopt
Step 1: Wait for the title of the thread to change- it will ALWAYS change whenever foxes are released or an announcement is made. Only the end part (after Bat-Eared Fox Adoptions) will change.
Step 2: See if any of the foxes are on this post. If there are, see if any of the form codes are not crossed out.
Step 3: If there are foxes up and one of the form codes is unstriked, then copy the form, fill it out properly, and post it.
Step 4: Wait. Shortly after all foxes are adopted, I will post a list of people who got foxes and the IMG code to each fox given out. Foxes are first come, first serve unless otherwise stated (for event games or contests), so the first people to post for foxes gets them.
Remember to read all of the rules, ESPECIALLY the adopting rules, so that each release can go smoothly and easily.

Foxes in couples will also be put up for adoption here after their litters are adopted (*Note- bat-eared foxes mate for life, so foxes in couples can not breed with any other fox but the fox it had a litter with for when the breeding center opens)

When you breed two of your own foxes, you get to choose one kit of your choice from the litter. If you breed one of your foxes with someone else's fox, you get to choose one kit of your choice and your partner gets to choose one kit of their choice. The rest of the kits go up for adoption. Remember, bat-eared foxes mate for life, so choose your fox's mate carefully! You cannot breed the same two foxes twice, nor can you buy a breeding pass for someone else's two foxes to use. If two people want to breed their foxes, the cost of the breeding pass will be split between both of you (20 FB each) and only one person needs to post a form, but I need your partner to PM me or post that they agree to this breeding.
