Welcome to Parks and Hibernation, or for short P&H. Here you can adopt a variety of pocket pixel bears! For now there will be two different line arts which are listed below. Take a look around, and make sure to read the rules before you adopt! The thread is still under construction so some things are a little wonky, sorry for that.

About

Here at P&H you can adopt various different bear species, some line arts are still in the works though. Anyway, these bears are much friendlier than average and enjoy human company. They're also smaller and are around the size of your average house cat. The colors can be anything now, unnatural or natural but nothing too bright or flashy. Some bears seem to take on the personality of their owners, or the coloring of other animals.

Rules

• When adopting bears, you cannot edit your form, if you do, you'll be disqualified and the next appropriate form will get the bear.
• Please don't whine/beg/complain or make a pity party about not getting the bear you wanted, there will always be more!
• Do not take a bear that you don't own, also do not trace/steal the lines please.
• If you no longer desire to have your bear, please PM me and I'll take care of it. If you want to gift your bear to another user, please PM me first just so I can approve.
• Please try to be nice to everyone, I don't want any fights breaking out haha.
• Do not mini-mod please, I know you're trying to help but it might just make more fights break out.
• Please do not spam the topic, thank you.

There are many different types of bears you can adopt here! Each one has a little information about each bear in question.
Some of this information is NOT realistic.

Grizzly Bear

Common

Although sometimes these little bears are grumpy, they always love to spend time with their owners. There are no special markings that each bear must have, so any designs/colors will work with them. You never know what to expect!

Black Bear

Common

These bears are slightly friendlier, and also smaller than the Grizzly Bear's. They prefer to spend time with their owners than other bears, and also have no special markings that they share with every bear of this species. Although they're slightly more likely to have natural colors (not markings) than unnatural ones.

Sun Bear

Uncommon

Sun bears love soaking up the sun, and eating honeycombs with their long tongues which are usually hanging out. Without daily relaxation they can get grumpy and are perfect for people who enjoy to lounge around although its bad if they get too lazy since they'll get mean. All Sun bears have a "V" shaped marking on their chest, and light/colored muzzles.

Polar Bear

Rare

Polar bears love to be cold! Often times you'll find them in the freezer, snoring away. Although sometimes they'll lay out in the sun, they also love swimming so if you have a pool they'll be in there all the time. Winter or summer, they'll be playing on the ice or in the water. They're very friendly and love to cuddle as well, as for markings they're colors are always diluted/more white.

Here you can adopt any bears that you want! Adoptions are quick, and are first come first serve other adoptables can be won by the best form, raffles, etc. If you're confused about how the adoptions work, just read the information and if none if your questions are answered, feel free to shoot me a PM~

To get these bears the first person to post a correctly filled out form, without editing it gets the bear. The information doesn't matter, as long as the form is filled out. (Although WIP on the NAME is fine, but you must pick a gender). These are basically just first come first serve, adoptables.

You can only adopt a bear every other day/every other litter

Raffles

Bears that are obtained from raffles are usually a little more uncommon/rare bears or have lineart edits. These bears are won by luck of the draw!

Welcome to the store! Here you can buy a lot of items which can be traded in for breedings, customs, line-art edits, gender changes, etc. Some items are also wearable and if you post a request form I'll add it onto your bear for free! Keep in mind to read all the information since some items may be unavailable in certain lines.

Once I create the images, the names WILL be changed to something else.

Name tag

You're allowed to change your bears name once for free, but after that you'll need to buy a name-tag to change it after that. (ignore WIP names).

Gender-swap

Wanted a female but got a male? Wanted a male but got a female? You're in luck! All you need to do is buy gender berries and then your bear will go from male, to female. Once you make the change you cannot do it again and the gender will be permanent and unchangeable again.

If you want to breed your bears together, then buy a breeding twig for a guaranteed spot OR if you want to breed a same sex pair.

If you want to breed your bears together, then come here! If you want a guaranteed slot or breed a male/male or female/female pair then also buy some breeding twigs. Your bears must be the same species to breed.

What do breeding twigs do for male/female couples?
Breeding twigs for male/female couples will let you choose the number of offspring you want. The buyer can choose up to 4 offspring, and no more.

Breeding Rules

• Male/male and Female/female couples must have Breeding Twigs to be bred together, which ban be purchased in the Store. The babies of the same-sex pairs will also be either all female or all male depending on the parents.
• Bears must be the same species to be bred together so Grizzly/Grizzly are fine as a pair but BlackBear/Grizzly won't work. This will eventually change.
• If all the slots are filled, please do not post another form.
• Do not edit your form until I accept you, incomplete forms will be ignored.
• Make sure you have permission from the other owner's bear if you don't own it.
• Bears can have up to 4 cubs, although they usually have around 2.

Looking for: 2-3 new artists.
• As long as you can work with .psd's you should be fine! If you can only work with .png's I can give you just the normal bases but it will be a lot harder to color in I think.
• Experience with being an artist/making designs. Include at least 3+ design examples in your form please.

Archivist Requirements

Looking for: 1 new archivist.
• Preferable if you have experience in archiving.
