About the species

What are Caniwara?

Caniwara are a type of canine that were recently brought to captivity. They are strong, hardy and very difficult to train, but I'm sure you'll manage Caniwaras can be found with all colours and patterns - they are the only mammal known to have any fur colour! They are almost never very bright colours, as this spoils the camouflage.

Rules

1. Tess' rules always apply!
2. No fighting or arguing of any kind please. We don't want to scare potential adopters off.
3. Please, no moaning about how you didn't get one or you missed a litter. This is considered spam.
4. Only me and the members of staff may bump the topic.
5. If you have a question, check the FAQ before asking the mods/me/artists.
6. Do not pester any of the members of staff. You will be banned.
7. Customs are open when it says open, and closed when it says closed. The same applies to breeding.
8. Please give the correct payment for customs, and pay the artist who is making the custom.
9. Please do not remove the signature at the bottom.
10. Please keep the url code linking back to this thread on the image.
11. Please do not cut off any parts of the Caniwara image. You may resize the image.
12. Art is allowed to be made.
13. Please make sure you have enough money in the bank before you buy items.
14. Please do not post a dressing up form if all the slots are full. I will only fill slots if I am not able to get on my computer.
15. If you steal someone else's Caniwara, you will receive a 24-hour notice to remove it from wherever you put it.
16. If you remove the url from your Caniwara, you will receive a strike.

Staff-specific rules

1. Please don't throw your weight around. It doesn't do any good to your and our reputation.
2. Artists: once you have finished a litter, PM it to me with the codes and I'll put the litter up for adoption.
3. Also for artists: you may only make ONE free custom for yourself. Any other time, you have to get another artist to make a custom for you.
4. Please make sure that the images have a transparent background, and are width 150 pixels by height 123 pixels. It makes it much easier for me.
5. If I spot anything wrong with the litter when you PM it to me, I will correct it, so don't worry :3

FAQ


How do I adopt a Caniwara?

To adopt, make your way over to the Adoption post. Then pick a Caniwara, if there is a litter up for grabs. Once you have picked a Caniwara and a name, fill out the form given and you'll get the code when I do the code drop!

What do I do with this code?

Using your code, you can put your Caniwara in your signature, in your trade rules, or anywhere you like, as long as it follows my and Tess's rules and it's not off site.

I lost my code!

Don't panic! I will keep an archive with everyone's Caniwara in, so go to the archive, right click on your Caniwara's picture and click Copy Image URL. Then if you don't know how to wrap the url tags around it, post the code here and me or one of the staff will sort it out for you.

My Caniwara isn't on the archive!

If you adopted a Caniwara very recently, then I probably haven't put it on the archive yet. Just wait, and it'll appear within a few days. However, if it isn't there, PM me.
^^ To prevent all this hassle, when you receive your code, right-click on the Caniwara image and click Save. Save it to your computer, then if you ever lose your code, upload it on an image-hosting site (e.g. tinypic) and there's your code! If you use a site like imgur, see above. Right click, Image URL etc. Make sure you wrap the url around the code!

Can I apply for artist and mod?

Exploration is where your Caniwara's skills come into play. (the skills are the numbers by your Caniwara) The numbers represent how much chance you have of that skill helping your exploration trip. For example, if your Caniwara had 7 stamina, that would mean it could find 7 items or have 7 attempts at catching a wild Caniwara. (the chances will go down, and if you find an item it doesn't mean you will get it.)

The Forest- thick, abundant, fertile. Good living conditions. Very hard to find items due to the amount of plants.



The Fields - Wide expanse of grass, not much cover. Very easy to find items, though it is a bit difficult to find Caniwara.
