So pretty much I was really bored and decided to see if I could make animations with Gimp. Turns out that I can, so I took my new species I was going to make into free adoptions at some point anyway and animated them. Adoptions are now open, so scroll down and check out the little ones we have available.

I have one mini-mod(Mad Hatterette1) to help you guys out if you have questions and I'm not around at the time. Please listen to them and do what they say.

[Metallic Dragon]

The Lenarion is a strange bug-like creature. They are hatched from large eggs that take less than a week to fully mature. Young lenarions can most often be found sleeping and they are the ones that are normally spotted by humans. The young ones seem to find humans fascinating and like to watch them from afar. For some reason, they draw nearer when a human falls asleep in their territory and can become attached to them with a very feirce loyalty. As they grow older and mature, they set out in search of a mate. Each female only produces, at most, two eggs.

Older lenarions are very shy and are hardly ever seen. Of course, even if you were to see one, they can flee faster than you can even imagine. It is nearly impossible to catch them once they take off.

Adult lenarions are around the size of a large wolf, probably about 4-5 feet tall(not including their ears) and 5-7 feet long from the tip of their nose/pincer things to the tip of their tail. Females are smaller, probably around 3-4 feet tall and 4-6 feet long.
When they first hatch, lenarions are close to the size of an adult cat and the eggs are around the size of a small-ish beach ball(bigger than a basketball, smaller than a beachball)
They are mammals but lay eggs like a platypus.

Lenarions come in four main types but there are also some very rare colorings. The most well known(and the first to be discovered) is the forest lenarion. An example of this type can be seen below.

There should almost always be lenarions available for adoption(at least until school starts) so keep checking back if there's not one you like right now. Anyway, while you're here, please read these rules. They are very important.

1. This species is created by me, if you steal it, there will be consequences.
2. Do not claim these as your own.
3. Do not try to steal someone else's lenarion. They don't like it and neither do I.
4. Do not remove my signature/ mess with these in any way.
5. Feel free to post these around CS in your siggy or character threads, but DO NOT post them off-site AT ALL!!
6. I do judge by quality on adoption forms.
7. Don't rush me. These take a lot of work so that they can be animated. I really don't want to have to close down because of rude people.
8. Enjoy them and respect them. Lenarions are very special to me, please remember that and treat yours well.
9. Please respect me and everyone else, don't try to steal these. They are free anyway, there's no reason to steal them when you can adopt your own.
10. If you no longer want yours, please return hereand let me know so he/she can be re-adopted to someone else.(Meaning don't just chuck them in a random adoption center.)
11. You may get art of your Lenarion from other artists, I would love to see it though, so if you do, please PM me! Also, please be sure to give me credit for the species.(If you make editable linearts in the oekaki, please PM me the links so I can see! Also, be sure to put a link back here in the first post so people can find the origins of the lenarion adoption center^^)

Eggs will be put up for veiwing two days in advance with a set date and time that adoptions will open. At the time of opening, forms may be posted. At the set time of closing no more forms will be accepted and I will judge who seems most likely to care for and love their lenarion(and not just adopt it to add to their collection of other adoptions). Judging should take a couple of hours before I post the winners of the lenarion eggs in question.

PM me to have your lenarion posted here. This is the best place to put them if you are looking to breed your lenarions. However, you may only keep one of the eggs(there will be three when bred here unless one person owns both lenarion) So the owners of the lenarions will each get to pick one of the three eggs and the third will be put in the egg adoption area.
(I'll have to update this when the edit post glitch is fixed, I can't get to the bottom of the page without it being absolutely obnoxious)

Note about status: When the status says, "ready to breed" You may send breeding requests. When they are already breeding at the time it will say, "Breeding with..." Do not send breeding requests for them at that time.

There will only be two breeding slots available at any given time. If they are both filled, you must wait until one opens to breed a pair of lenarions. To increase your chances of taking one of the slots, get permission FIRST(All owners are linked in the adoptees part of the center to make this easier for you) before posting a form, that way you're not in limbo waiting for the other person to respond. If permission is not given, do not post a form to breed the pair.
