welcome to the noticeboard!

hello! as this adoptable site is very new, i will be looking for a lot of staff. i am currently looking for 2 artists, 2 mods, and an admin.
Currently hiring three active artists.
all staff must be active, and have at least an hour on each day, unless they have family stuff, holidays, etc. artists will be asked for at least 3 litters a week, plus any customs and 2nd gens when those areas open. mods have permission to give strikes, as long as they quote the reason and PM it to me. they will 'control' the flow of people, and enforce rules. the admin will do the same, but are able to ban people AFTER PM'ING ME.

BREEDS!
woah...lots of sub-breeds...

the earth dragon is the most common of the dragon species. they have large, flat feet and very small wings, as they do not fly. their colouring usually matches their surroundings.
types of earth dragons:

air dragons are uncommon, as they are usually in the air. they have small feet and very large, bat-like wings. they are hard to find, due to the fact that they are almost transparent, and they blend into the sky or clouds around them.

water dragons are very rare to find. they spend their time at the ocean floor, or propelling themselves through the water with their large finns. they have three tails, that drift in the current and look like seaweed. the dragon would lay on the ocean floor, and use their tails to lure fish over. then the water dragon would attack.

these dragons are exceptionally rare, as they are found only at night. their colours are dark, but not dull. (for a dull dragon, look at the typical swamp dragon, ) they have bright eyes, and will have the letter 'N' next to their lineart.

PPS dragons are young, but can grow up using random events and potions. they cannot breed. the PPS has many types, all of which falls into three catagorys.

Earth Safari-
this safari goes to one of four suprime locations, to catch your own dragons! you have a 50% chance of catching one without add-ons.the locations are the grassland, the trees, the forest, or the botanical gardins. the gardins have four sections, small enough to axplore them all. they are a swamp, a flower bed, a games room, and a park. you can also buy some add-ons to help you.
earth add-ons:
1. a net. this gains an extra 20% chance on getting a dragon! only 10 fangs.
2.a jeep. this enables you to gain 2 dragons instead of one, but the noise decreases the chance by 10%.30 fangs.
3. a whistle. this whistle sound just like a female dragon, creating a 100% chance of gaining a male dragon. only 40 fangs!
4. nightlight- gives you the ability to catch a nocternal dragon! 50 fangs
air safari-
there are three location for this safari; clear sky, storm, or clouds. there is a 50% chance on getting a dragon. you can also buy add-ons to help you:
1. lassoo.this gains an extra 20% chance on getting a dragon! only 30 fangs.
2.bi-plane.this enables you to gain 2 dragons instead of one, but the noise decreases the chance by 10%. 40 fangs.
3. whistle.this whistle sound just like a female dragon, creating a 100% chance of gaining a male dragon. only 50 fangs!

We have a few changes to the breeding, 2nd gens, and the pound.
Changes are as follows:
Instead of paying for elixirs, you post a suggestion on the breeding thread, that you want. It doesn't have to be your dragon, it can be any dragon. Yours, another users, even freebies! Every update, I will make some 2nd generation dragons. Only I will do the art for them, unless I specifically ask an artist to do them. The second generation dragons will be put up for general adoption.the adoption will not be a litter number, but rather, it will be called nursery. There will be two to four adults, and one to two PPS dragons in each litter, and one or two will be modified line arts. The adults Are also breedable. You will still be able to use the elixirs for personal use, but it follows the old rules. Those forms are also posted on the breeding thread.

I am also introducing the pound. If a dragon has not been adopted within three days of release, it will be sent to the pound. You can adopt an unlimited amount of dragons from the pound. If a dragon has been in the pound longer than two weeks, he will be terminated.

These changes are hopefully going to revive the breeding thread.
