Welcome to Bat-Eared Fox Adoptions!

○Introduction○
Bat-Eared Foxes, or BEFs for short, are an adoptable open
to everyone based on first come, first served, unless otherwise stated.
There are random batches released every so often and each year is full
of many events for holidays. BEFs has been running for three years and
was originally created by myself, EmberWolf, but we have a few more
staff members that help keep the thread running smoothly and make
BEFs as well. Please read over everything on this page so you don't
miss any important information. Thank you!

Rules

○Thread Rules○
-Do not steal the designs or art
-Do not use any adoptable that isn't yours
-Do not use adoptables off of CS without my given consent

○Adopting Rules○
-There is a 1 fox per person per day limit
-It is acceptable to say "Can I name later?" or "Can I name it
when I see it/it grows up?"
-Any name changes are okay, PM me or Tyasi or post what
you want to change it to
-I do not do customs
-Do not edit your adoption forms under any circumstances
-If you have more than 10 foxes, you can only adopt once a
month. If you have more than 15, you cannot adopt unless
from an event

○About○
Bat-eared foxes can be adopted from a batch (six random or themed foxes), litter (two parent foxes and their kits), or group (random amount of foxes, usually foxes surrendered to the pound or litter parents). Litters can range from 2-6 kits, foxes with mutations such as wings that are bred are likely to have a smaller litter than foxes without mutations. Mutations are uncommon, normally only appearing in special foxes from holiday themed releases or special occasions.

○Frequently Asked Questions○
○ Q: When is the next litter/batch coming out?
○ A: Foxes are released randomly. There is no telling when one might come out unless announced prior. If it is announced, it is likely to be for an event or special occasion.

○ Q: Can I have a fox/custom fox?
○ A: No, I do not do customs foxes.

○ Q: Can you PM me when the next litter comes out?
○ A: No, it's my job to make the adoptables, not notify when they come out. It wouldn't do you much good anyway, foxes are snatched up pretty quickly.

○ Q: Can I be an artist/mod/staff for BEF?
○ A: If I'm looking for any staff, I'll probably post that on the thread, otherwise no.

○ Q: Can foxes be bred more than once?
○ A: No. Foxes can only be bred one time only, whether they are user pair's or created litters, they will not be able to breed again.

○ Q: Aren't these just fennec foxes?
○ A: No. Google Bat-Eared foxes, you will get your answer. Fennec foxes and bat-eared foxes aren't even within the same species.

○ Q: Can you release foxes that are for ONLY people who don't have foxes?
○ A: I have thought this over before, but due to the amount of people who whine and complain about it, most likely no. Events are your easiest chance to get a fox- lots of foxes are released and there is always a limit to how many one can adopt. There are also regulations for adopting foxes. If you have more than 10 foxes, you can only adopt once a month, and if you have more than 15, you can only adopt in events. This is so that more people will get foxes, but remember, I do not make it easier for those with many foxes to adopt. They do the same amount of working stalking as any other player without a fox would.

○How To Adopt○
Step 1: Wait for the title of the thread to change- it will ALWAYS change whenever foxes are released or an announcement is made. Only the end part (after Bat-Eared Fox Adoptions v.2) will change.
Step 2: See if any of the foxes are on this post. If there are, see if any of the form codes are not crossed out.
Step 3: If there are foxes up and one of the form codes is unstriked, then copy the form, fill it out properly, and post it.
Step 4: Wait. Shortly after all foxes are adopted, I will post a list of people who got foxes and the IMG code to each fox given out. Foxes are first come, first serve unless otherwise stated (for event games or contests), so the first people to post for foxes gets them.

Remember to read all of the rules so that each release can go smoothly and easily.

Fox couples have their litter of kits up for adoption here. Each kit already has a gender. Litters may have 2-6 kits.

If foxes are confiscated from rule-breaking owners or if a fox is no longer wanted by its owner and given back, they are put in the pound for adoption. Foxes in couples will also be put up for adoption here after their litters are adopted.
