"Welcome to the misty tree forest!" It says. Suddenly, more forms emerge from the forest. "What are you?" You ask. "We are the pixel pups!" They reply simultaneously.
You notice that every one of them has a toy in it's mouth. You look at the toys, confused. "We all found our toys when we were young, and never parted with them." She says, almost in answer to your confusion. "They're like a part of us, and if we lost them, we'd only be happy again if we found another that matched our personality." Another pup steps out from the crowd. He sets a cat charm down. "I was wandering around after I lost my first toy, when I found a beautiful necklace with a cat charm on it. I got rid of the necklace, and kept the charm. sunshine's been with me ever since." He says.
"Before you go any further, I would like to show you the rules of the Misty Tree Forest." The leader announces. "Here they are":

"There are lot's of puppies who want to venture outside of the forest, but it's not safe for them unless they have a companion to protect them. Would you like to take one of them with you?" the leader asks.

"This," The leader gestures to a small building, made out of two trees that twine together. "Is the adoption center. The puppies that would like to leave the forest stay here until they find a companion. You're welcome to adopt as many as you like, but, please take care of them." She says. "Simply fill out this form to adopt a puppy":

"This is the shelter, where puppies who have been abandoned, or taken from people who haven't cared for them go, hoping to find a new companion. Most puppies who go here have lost their toys. If you want to take one of them with you, you have to describe a new toy that you will give to the pup. It must match the pup's color/personality. Here is the form to adopt a puppy from the shelter."
