Err, hello diary! I don't quite know what to make of you or even how to use you, but
one of my tutors suggested, well, rather told me to use a diary to document my life.
It'll help me practice my English as well, I think.
That's it, diary! I hope I can fit some more entries in you soon!

Hey there again, diary! I thought since I didn't provide too many details and tidbits 'bout
me in my last entry, I'd do so now!
Well, hi. I'm Bai, second daughter to the current emperor and empress of the land, sister
to crown princess Mei Xiangmao. There's a lot more to me than just that.
I'm told I like to hide in the empty bookshelves in the royal library, quaint to be around,
an excellent student according to my teachers, and a very lovable sister by Mei.
I love how my sister and I's names rhyme. I like to think, sometimes over-think. I'm full of
energy, ready to bound but easily tamed.
I read books too often and sneak around, to everyone's displeasure. I may be a butt, as those
Americans refer to those unpleasant to be around, but I'm generally lovable and properly
proper to hand with.
I think that's the basics of me! See you soon!

Hello again, diary! It's been quite a while since I last wrote in you, but things
have become quite busy. And desperate.
My parents were reported dead last night, at the annual book festival; it's a sad thing to hear,
especially to those closest to them, including me and my sister Mei. I'm not sure what to
make of it yet. It's tearing me apart just knowing they won't be in my life anymore and Mei
becoming the queen with hardly the crude basics of it.
I'll have to write in you again later, diary; I'm getting emotional now. Good princesses are
solemn and are the picture of apathy.
2010年9月3日 - September 3rd, 2010
It's been very busy again; everyone is hustling and bustling, for the preparation of
Mei's coronation. I'm preparing too, but I, luckily, don't have as much stress on my shoulders;
just write up a speech and present it to China.
Easy compared to everyone else's parts. To be frank, I'm nervous; it's only been a handful of times
that I spoke to a crowd, let alone one the size of the empire.
I hope to get it down by the time I have to, but it'll probably cut down the amount of journal entries
I can do in that time.
I have to go fix my speech and write the conclusion paragraph now; I hope to write again soon!

Happy New Year's, diary!
Things have been pressuring lately and news to move me to America has been floating around.
Frankly, I'm a bit nervous; I've heard many fantastic things from the palace roamers, but I'm
unsure on the country, still. It'll be very different, with their strange culture. English, although
I've been told I excel in the language, it's something like polar-opposite to they way the Americans
use it. They eat differently as well, strange and impolite, like the way they carry themselves.
I'm just worried as to how it'll change my life, really.
2011年1月1日 - January 12st, 2011
I'm at the airport now, where jewels of many colors have come to travel.
The wait's long but bearable; I also visited the gift shop and got some charms for my amusement.
Dragons carry laptops around and eye them curiously, probably checking something out. I've never
had one of my own before, but I'm hoping to get one myself with the wad of cash given to me by
my gracious ruler, Mei.
Everything is high-tech, unlike many of the places I've ventured to in the past. It gives me a taste
of what America will be like.
I will admit I will miss some things like the vast libraries and cultural things, but I've heard America
holds more of that stuff. I'll miss Mei too, but not so much; I don't know if she'll miss me too.
I have to go now; the line's forming and it's about time to get on the plane.
2011年1月1日 - January 14th, 2011
I've finally arrived at America; skyscrapers stand high and tall and dragons are rushing.
It's such a busy place and so interesting; I already like it. Although, the wait to get here and there is pretty
long and some of the dragons were rude. Something I have to live with, I guess.
I'm sitting in my apartment, overlooking the city, modern touches here and there. It's a wonderful little place,
stylish and comfortable, as well as tailored to my taste.
I don't know why, but I already feel comfortable in this new country with its luxuries; I feel like I can live a
normal life here and be known as any other jewel mane dragon.
The diary entries end there, probably due to Bai's forgetting to update her diary after exploring New York City.
