Hello there! Nice to meet you, my name is Sky! Have we met before? You look pretty familiar! Any way, are you looking for a new little friend? Someone to play with? Well look no further! I have tons of cute little pets! We have everything from cats, to rats. And every single one is looking for a home. We are not a pound, we are a cozy sanctuary. We take in abused or hopelessly lost animals from shelters and find them a good home. Because we don't believe in putting down poor homeless pets. Those poor shelter pets just need a little more love and some time to find a new fur-ever home! So if you want to give one of these cute little critters a second chance, then lets go meet some! But first please take a look at our rules. These pets can't go to just anyone.

Rules

You will get banned if you
break these rules
• Tess' Rules always apply
• Be polite and courteous to
the staff and other users
• Only Artists can make litters
• No soliciting
• No spam
• No mini modding
• Breaking rules can get your
pets taken from you.

What is this?

Hello, have you come to learn about our pet sanctuary? Well I will tell you more about how we run things around here. Every adoption is free! Supply shop purchases and putting up a sign for a missing pet cost only a little bit, we want to reassure the rescuers how appreciated they are for saving animals. We take in any and all pets in need. We are just starting out, so we have not saved too many animals yet. But as we grow, you will find dozes of different species of animals. Some are abused, and some are just lost and can't find their way home again.

When Can I Make An Adoption?

We hold adoptions on specific days of the week, so that way the pets have time to be alone and not afraid with tons of people peering into their "hopefully" temporary homes. It is quite rare for it to be many times in one week, but it may happen on special occasions. It is possible it may only open once in a week, so be wary! It can be any day of the week. The days for each Month are always posted at the top of the page.

How many pets are released during each adoption? And how many of each group?

Well, the number varies every time based on the number of rescues we've made. Since we currently only have one rescuer, the number is going to be quite low. You can bet on the number being above five, and under 15. But there could be more, or even less on some days. Pets that are the most common to be found in the adoption center are cats, dogs, and rats. The rarest pets to be found, are exotic pets, and large mammals. Birds and reptiles are not uncommon, but there usually isn't very many of them up for adoption. Usually only a few.


What is a "Missing Pet?"

A "missing pet" is when you are looking for a specific pet that belongs to you, perhaps your fursona or a character of yours. We can easily find your pet among the many lost and missing animals and bring him home to you (: (It's my version of a custom!) But this is currently closed, so please don't ask when it will open or for me to make to a custom.

How do I suggest a pet for you to rescue?

We use the a poll system to choose our next pet!
The way this will work is simple.

I have a made a still growing list of a little less than 100 different pets all divided into groups of: Rodens/Small Mammals, Birds, Reptiles/Amphibians, Fish/Aquatic, Large Mammals, and Exotic/Rare pets. Each pet I have chosen are pets you can actually own (usually) safely and legally (at least in the United States). There is nothing like elephants, wolves, unicorns, penguins, in there. But exotic pets such as servals, Fennec Foxes, and Bush Babies ect. are listed (I just didn't go overboard!). The way this will work is every other adoption day, a new pet will be chosen from five of the groups. I will only give you one choice from each group. So even though I have 13 ideas for a type of bird, I'll only pick one bird for you to decided upon. Get it? Lets say, you do pick a bird over all the other groups. Next time we do a pet choosing, that group wont be in there. we will have everything to choose from except birds.

How do I tell my pet's gender?

A pet with pink heart is a female, and a pet with a blue heart is a male

Q: Do these cost anything?
A: No! Unless you are buying something from the supply store. Then yes, that will cost you something :3
Q: Can I have a custom?
A: A custom? In the supply shop, we have a paper you can fill out to get your missing fursona or character back (Custom forms!). Our excellent bloodhound will sniff them out for you. He has been pretty tiered lately so he might not always be up for doing hunts everyday! You will just have to wait for a spot to open up. These searches will cost you something. But sometimes the bloodhound does special free searches as a gift or for a special occasions.
Q: Can I breed/trade my pets?
A: Breeding will never happen. But trading might happen someday in the future depending on populatity.
Q: Can I be an artist please?! Please please please please.. at least can I make a guest litter?
A: No. Only artists can make litters, and asking to be an artist or a mod when I am not looking for one can get you a strike.
Q: Why hasn't there been a new litter out in a while?
A: Because I am very busy with real life! I don't always have time to get online and put up new litters. Sorry!
Q: Can we be affiliates?
A: Yes! But I'd rather you PM'ed me please.
Q: You should make wolves, badgers, walruses, unicorns or something cooler.
A: Please don't suggest species to me, because it is hard enough running an adoption place, if you want to make a wolf adopting place, go create your own thread with your own ideas.
Q: Oh noo I lost my pet! What do I do??!!
A: If your pet runs off or goes missing, you will probably find him or her in our archive.
