We don't really know where they came from. They just were there.

A long time ago, man and Fruit Bites lived among each other, and appreciated each other. The Fruit Bites ripened their fruit, and in return, man gave them a home, trinkets, and things they enjoyed. It was happy times between the two of them, and both flourished. Well, maybe one more then the other. From the increase in food supply and help, man's population grew, and grew, and grew. They grew so much they were overcrowding the large groups of Fruit Bites. Even though the Fruit Bites are small, they do require a good amount of land to which they can grow and live one. As man's population grew, the Fruit Bites dropped.

After hundreds of years, their population has dwindled down. Man has forgotten about their old friends, since they are not seen as much. Since they are not seen, they are not believed in. Even though this may all sound sad, the Fruit Bites do not mind losing their human friends to much, for they have each other. They still seek out occasionally to gain a friend of the human species, only when they have found a secure home.

Now the Fruit Bites live in remote areas, living in groups of 10 - 20. A lot of Fruit Bites have made their homes on large fruit farms, helping pollinate and ripen the fruits there, gaining home and food in return. They don't make their presence known much they, so they work in secret.

Appearance

Fruit Bites are small little creatures that seem to be a mix of a unicorn and a pegasus. However, you won't find them galloping along the forest with another human on their back. On average, they are the size of a mouse. Some are slightly bigger, and others are a bit smaller, it all depends. They also come in tons of colors. Pink, blue, green, yellow, and more. Sometimes they will be a solid color, other times they will be multicolored. Fruit Bites are usually bright colors, and when they are dark they are known to be rare. Those with darker colors resemble "rotten fruit", which isn't good.

Nature

Fruit Bites are the types of creatures that live up to their names. They are complete sweeties and are very energetic animals, always wanting to have a good time. They are fun loving and will usually look for something to do, never resting or taking a break. Usually they are hanging around fruit, which is another thing they are known for. Fruit Bites love fruit, such as apples, pears, peaches, and more. They ripen then with their magic, and help pollinate and spread the fruit by taking their pollen with their magic as well and carry it off. Fruit Bites are also strangely born from eggs, even though it doesn't seem possible. They take a seed from a fruit, and two unicorns touch horns at the exact same time on the seed, the seed with form an egg. It is said the seed they pick to form the egg with is usually what their favorite fruit will be.

Habitat

Fruit Bites are known to live in little groups, for they don't like to wander and be on their own. After so many vanished, they understood that being alone wasn't safe, and being in a group was much better. Since they are so small, Fruit Bites are able to live in the hollows of trees and burrows, things that can easily be protected. You can usually tell if you've found the home of a Fruit Bite because of the random things inside of it. The love picking up unique items on the ground and bringing it back to their home, even if they have no idea what it is or what its used for. However, you won't find them if you live somewhere cold, because they will have migrated to a warmer area.

Fruit Bites have a unique way of helping choose what owner they want. Since they love fruit, they obviously have a favorite fruit. Sometimes them choosing their right owner is by what fruit the persons brings them ~
