Here, eggs and occasionally hatchlings (or rarely adults) will become available for adoption. Over the course of a few days, the eggs will hatch and the hatchlings will grow up, revealing their adult forms and therefore their rarities.

This is Bismuth, Dragon Den's official Mascot, as chosen by the public =)

Rules:

• Follow all of the rules of ChickenSmoothie.com.
• Do not claim linearts as your own, edit or use them in any way without my express permission. If you do, that is a form of Art Theft and may lead to being banned from the thread.
• Do not take anything that isn't yours.
• Do not post Spam - one/two-worded responses and heavily off-topic posts count towards spam. Repeated offenses could lead to a warning.
• Do not re-sell these pets or their designs, especially not for profit. If you no longer want your dragon, please PM me and it'll go back for adoption.
• Please do not complain, whinge or mope if you didn't get the one you wanted. There will be more, or you could ask the owner of the dragon you want if they could breed it. Always respect their decision, however. Likewise, do not boast and rub it in other people's faces if you do win an egg/hatchling.
• Always listen to the Mod(s) when I'm not around. I can't always be online or keep an eye on things and they help to keep things orderly and smooth. Please treat them with respect ^^
  
• Do post questions or PM me; I'll answer them to the best of my ability as soon as I possibly can ^^
• Do post these offsite, provided the given code for the dragon stays intact and unedited or credit is given. If someone asks you where the eggs are from, please give them a link back here.
• Do use these dragons in rps, stories, etc
• Do PM me suggestions on what we could add to the thread, or any ideas for events/contests ^^
• If you're egg/hatchling won't grow (and it's not LDS), if you lose the codes or ANY problems at all don't be afraid to post or PM me! I don't bite and I always try to help =)

The job of the Mini-Mods is as follows:
• They must make sure no-one is spamming the thread
• They must help enforce any rules if necessary within the thread and must forward the usernames of any persistent rule-breakers to me through PM.
• They must help answer any questions about the thread posed if they can be answered, or they must try to point people in the right direction. In general, they need to be helpful.
• They must be friendly and kind, but firm with rules. Mods mustn't be biased when dealing with any possible trouble makers.

Artist/Guest Artist Guidelines/Rules:
• Try to make at least one egg a fortnight.
• In total, Guest Artists may make two clutches and up to three individual eggs. Official Artists may make up to one clutch a week and five individual eggs a week.
• When you're first accepted, I'll will send you the hatchling and egg lines by PM. The adult lines are already available in the thread.
• You do not have to worry about making the background transparent or figuring out how they need to grow; when they're complete simply send me all 2-3 complete stages by PM and I'll get it sorted.
• Take rarities into consideration; please ask me first before you make high-rarity eggs or clutches.
• Both types of Artist may make one Custom each. Please let me know before you do, however (so there is no misunderstanding).
• You may edit lines to add simple accessories but do not change the overall anatomy of any dragon lines.
• Artists may take custom orders as well; each person will have 3 slots and their own separate waiting list. It is then up to the customer to whether or not they want you to do their custom and if you can/will accept it, and to contact me when it's complete.

The Dragons

There are several different full grown Dragon forms, which cannot be otherwise determined whilst they are still hatchlings.
Your dragon has the chance to grow into a Very Common, a Common, an Uncommon, a Rare or a Very Rare.
Rarities aren't necessarily passed down through breeding.

More dragons will be added over time ^^

NOBODY is authorised to use the lines below except myself and Artists unless you have my expressed permission! I have already had several people use them without consent or request to use them in their own adoption centers. Anyone caught using/redistributing the lines as of 17/03/2013 will automatically be banned.
If you see anyone using my lines anywhere without obvious permission, please contact myself (KWest) or/and a Moderator/report them.
Art Theft is not tolerated on CS!

The Den

Check back here often to see if any new eggs or hatchlings have been abandoned. Eggs take 1 - 8 days to hatch whilst hatchlings take 2 - 14 days to grow up. Some hatchlings may have Little Dragon Syndrome (LDS) meaning they will never grow up and therefore cannot breed.

You may adopt one egg/dragon a day. Usually at one time you may only have three eggs and two hatchlings, not including ones you've bred and any eggs that grow up within that time. If this is the case and you end up with +5 hatchlings at once, you will not be allowed to adopt anymore until those numbers reset.
You may have an unlimited number of adults at any time. On rare occasions adults may also be found for adoption.

Note: In the case of multiple applicants, eggs/dragons will no longer be won on a first-come, first-serve basis. If more than one person applies for an egg/dragon before it is given out, then I'll pick one form randomly using a toss-up system as a fair means of deciding.

Breeding

Dragon genders aren't specified here. All you need is two dragons - they must be Adults, of course - with the appropriate form filled. Then when I accept if with my A-Okay, I'll PM you the resulting eggs (or in the case of two owners, on the thread) which you may choose one of to keep for yourself. Any others will be placed for adoption.
1 - 3 eggs are produced with 2 being the average.

Dragons with Little Dragon Syndrome (LDS) cannot breed. They are dragons that stop growing at their hatchling stage and therefore never grow any bigger although their markings and colours may change slightly after a while.

For now breeding is free of charge but
you must own both parents, unless you have express permission from another
dragon owner to use their's. In that case, both of you will get the chance to own
one of the resulting eggs so as long as you want one and can agree on who gets what.

Each dragon can only breed once every 7 days.

Customs

Custom dragons. Provide a reference of some
sort and it'll be transformed into a egg which will then grow up. Unless you directly
specify which adult line you want, it's adult form will be random, unless you select it to
be a LDS.
Wherever possible please make sure that you use a image reference or a very detailed reference.
Vague descriptions/images and very difficult designs will be rejected if I find that I can't manage, sorry.

Simple line edits and small accessories are also accepted. One custom per slot. You may only order one custom at a time.

Dragon Trading

Interested in acquiring a new dragon in exchange for one you already have? Why not try trading with someone else?
Eggs, hatchlings and adults can be traded. Like with breeding, limits for eggs and hatchlings do not apply when trading. New owners may also rename their new dragons.

There are several methods of Trade to choose from:

Auction
For this method you put your dragon up for offers. People may *only* bid dragons/eggs/hatchlings that they have, not CS pets or anything else. If you'd like to discuss a method of payment or such with a dragon owner that includes CS pets for a dragon, then please do so via PM.
You as the owner of the dragon for Auction may then select your winner. I will then perform the exchange, sending each owner their new codes.

Private
For this method you must ask another dragon owner to whether or not you'd like to trade. Both of you must agree. If you do, both parties must fill out a trade form. The trade will then be performed. It is also possible to simply 'give' a dragon to a specified user through this method without giving one in return.

Note: both you and your partner must each fill out a form.

Gifting
You may also gift dragons/eggs/hatchlings. If you don't already own a dragon, or even if you do, you may sign up to go on the 'Gifting' list. Perfect for those who keep missing the clutch releases! You may only appear on the Gift Waiting List if you have 3 dragons/eggs/hatchlings or less.
You may not get to choose what you receive - it is done at random. Most of the time, if there's only one dragon and only one person on the Waiting List, you will not automatically receive the dragon.
You may also get to 'donate' unwanted dragons to be given as gifts. Be careful! Once you donate a dragon he/she will not longer belong to you! =)

Here Dragon owners may browse and purchase items for their dragons using Gold Coins ( )

can be earned through a number of ways;

★Owners will earn 50 Gold Coins when they first adopt. Then for every five Dragons they
adopt they'll get an additional 5 Gold Coins (breedings/customs do not apply).
★Through the purchase of Grab Bags
★Gold Coins can be earned through some Dragon's Den promotions.

Eye Change Potion
Allows you to change the colour of your dragon/
hatchling's eyes to any of your choice. One-use only.
Price: 10

Force Potion
Forces a single egg to hatch early or a hatchling to grow up earlier.
One-use only. Carries risk of lowering dragon's rarity.
Price: 30

Mutant Potion
Causes 1 - 3 random mutations to an adult or LDS dragon, i.e.
extra tail, different wings, fur/mane growth unique line change etc. One-use
only and irreversible. Mutations may also be passed down through breeding.
Be certain that you want to use it.
Price: 50

Stunt Potion
Causes a hatchling to become LDS. One-use only,
irreversible.
Price: 25

Large Plain Collar
Can be put on any adult/LDS dragon of your choice. Comes in any colour,
either striped or solid.

Can be put on any adult/LDS dragon. Comes in any solid/striped colour with either
silver, gold or brass studs.

A random dragon egg. Grab Bag eggs have a high chance
