ALL RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
ABOUT
HoP is based off the Birds of paradise,a very colorful species.
HoP have deer like front hooves, with an extra claw in the back for defense and catching small prey such as fish
They have a few extra vertebra in their neck allowing bird like movement for preening feathers, and better movement for selecting precious fruit from the high trees.
Both genders often have two-tone manes
The males are much "fluffier" then the females and a lot more colorful
It is extreamly rare for a HoP to have an unnatural horse fur color, and in the occurance of an unnatural color, the fur looks more feather-like and shines more vibrantly.
Lighter colors are rare, and in this occurrence they have the higher bird gene. More likely to produce an exotic coat color
ADOPTION INFORMATION
The very rare, Extreamly Rare breeds are subject to require a signature to own. this signature is to make sure you agree to limited breeding, anything above very rare is not going to have this limitation. This is in order to keep the colors very rare!
There is some limitation to how many HoP you can own. BUT until you show you can produce at least 1 peace of art/writing/RPing for each of them in the time span of 6 months, you are limited to owning 5. If you show you can keep this up - you may gain 5 more slots. If 'neglect' is shown to the HoP you own, you agree to it being 'taken away' within a year year span of the neglect. (This does NOT apply to the first two HoP that are owned.)
When HoP reach 25 years, they 'retire' from the rarity list and kept in your 'barn' at this point they are no longer accounted to the # you own, and they can no longer participate in RP nor Competitions.
When you recive a foal from a breeding, you are required to fill out a form, and message me so i can calculate the rarity and you must add that in your form for count. if this is not done within 3 months of owning the foal, it must go up for adoption.
BREEDING INFORMATION
There is no limit to breeding to Very common, Common, Uncommon and rare breeds.
You MUST ask permission of the owner of the HOP you wish to breed to in order to get one of the foals. Payment may be required depending if the owner wants it or not. (it is not expected to be asked from the rarities that have no breeding limitation.{this is more for the VR and ER owners})
