This is the official Teacup Dragon thread. Here you will be able to talk about the dragons, post stories, poems, artwork, roleplays and just about anything you can think of conserning the dragons. You are also free to post new suggestions in this thread. Even though I might not have time to answer all suggestions I do read them and take them into consideration before making new dragons.
Here you will also be able to find some informarion about the speices (More will be added as the species grows) and a list of all the dragons that have been adopted out.

General information
Tread carefully and you might just get lucky to catch a glimpse of the small dragons living in the flora all around. These small dragons are known for being timid and hiding from humans. Yet they all share an certain curiosity that can get them into trouble.
A small little creature like the Teacup Dragon can become a snack for any type of bigger predator. This makes it's camoflauge a life saving survival strategy. If it's camoflauge doesn't work these critters are more likely to flee than to fight any creature bigger than them.
Most of them live in small groups by 5-10 dragons. Different dragons build their nests in different places, the ground living dragons usually dig out burrows underneath trees or in the outskirts of flowerpatches, they then cover the entrence with grass and other plants. Tree living dragons usually doesn't build their own nests but prefer to take over abandoned birds nests or holes in the trees. Most Teacup Dragons are attracted to shiny objects to decorate their nests with, much like magpies.
Their main body is mostly different shades of green, brown and white to blend in with their surroundings, with brighter vibrant colours on the insides of their wings and on their face and stomach. Ground living Teacup Dragons usually have green tails that they stick up in the air when hiding in the grass, whilst the tree living Teacup Dragons mostly have brown tails that they wrap around branches when hiding. They have what appears as flowers usually growing on their tails or backs. but these are infact mutated scales and skin. These are often formed as the flowers that they hide in and grows and changes with the seasons by shedding.
Teacup Dragons are very small and petite beings with slender forelegs and muscular backlegs great for jumping before take off. They have a long neck with a small head and big soulfull eyes. They can see farely well in the dark and some are even nocturnal.
They can be found all over the world, in all different terrains as long as there is plant life to be found. From mountains to forests, deserts, tundras, meadows and even urban enviroments.
Their diet consists mainly of fruits, berries, insects and various plants and roots. Whatever they can get their small paws on.
Tree living Teacup Dragons.
Teacup dragons that live in trees and bushes ususally has a Brown tail and are the ones who are most known fro having flowers growing on other part of their body then their tail. They are the best climbers and have well adapted tails that they use to climb with like a fifth limb. Some are known to be quite territorial over their tree not allowing anyone to harm it.
Many of them build their nests like birds or inhabit old abandoned birds nests and wholes in the trunk of the tree.
They build their nests out of feather, leaves, sticks and any other soft materials they can get their paws on.
Ground living Teacup Dragons.
The ground living Teacup dragons are the most common ones and usually live in different types of flower patches and meadows. They excell in hiding and foraging and are often very quick and nimble. Their tails are usually green or the same colour of the stem of the original flowers that their flower scales are based of.
They build their nests hidden in shrubs or dig small burrows or dens to build their nests in. They are aslo known to steal other creatures burrows like forest mice and rabbits.
They build their nests out of wooven grass, flower petals, feathers and other soft materials.
Fungi Teacup Dragons.
Even though fungi Teacup dragons should technically fall under the ground living Teacup dragon section this is not the case. The fungi Teacup dragons are mostly known for the fact that they do not have any wings. They are very quick to compensate for the loss of their wings and their tail are usually the same colour as the ground they hide on.
Much like the ground living Teacup dragons fungi Teacup dragons build their nests in hidden places or in dens or Barrows.
They usually build their nests out of old leaves and grass wanting to. They prefer the nest damp and moist which is the biggest differense from the ground living Teacup dragons who prefers warm and dry nests.
Water living Teacup Dragons.
Not much are known about these rare Teacup dragons. What is known is that they also lack wings much like the fungi Teacup dragons and have webbed feet to help manuever through the water.
What else is known is that they build their nests on the more shallower ends of the water or further up on riverbanks.
