The Owlies are the results of an ongoing genetic expirement by a particular group of scientists. This adoption center is dedicated to finding homes for the results of these expirements!
The Owlies are playful, curious creatures, very similar to dogs. They are outstandingly loyal. However, the possess the intelligence and hunting prowess of their owl counterparts and are quick and agile. They can here the heart beat of a mouse from a hundred feet away, and can fly short distances and glide quite well. They love to flutter up trees and nose about hollows.
Owlies stand between knee-height and waist-height of a human being, with the males typically being slightly bulkier. Due to their expiremental origin, they can come in any colour imaginable, though for the sake of science, they typically come in very more natural leaning colours.
Because of this expiremental origin that enables these colours, they can also be custom-built to the whims of a commissioner. This of course makes them no less lovable! They are also quite... prone to genetic abnormalities. Even later generations can develop mutations quite out of the blue!


Owlies can breed up to once a week. Litters contain 1-4 puppies. You may keep one of these, of your choosing. The remainder isput upfor adoption in the thread; though you can always purchase them.
Certain items from the shop can help to increase the amount of puppies had, puppies that will stay with you, chance of mutations, etc.
Owlies owned by two different people CAN still breed, however, both owners must feed their Owlies seperatly beforehand. (no quickswapping, that's cheating.) I need to receive confirmation PMs from both parties.

Congratulations! I'm new. So there's still about a trillion common/verycommon/omgsc pets I don't have yet. So until I'm a bit more satisfied with my pet count, I'll be accepting commons, very commons, and OMGSC from my wishlist. Thanks!
To convert pets into Mice, send me a trade with the pets you want converted and "converting to Mice."

Yum! A very tasty Owlie treat, packed with protein. Owlies need to eat before breeding to keep up their strength. One delicious Vole between the two of them will suffice.

Rabbit = 32 Mice
Rabbits are lucky, right? What do you mean 'just the feet?' Well, feeding your Owlies a Rabbit before breeding will ensure there are at least two puppies in the next litter- and you manage to keep track of both of them!
A Rabbit allows you to have and keep two puppies from the next litter.
Giant Norwegian Mountain Rabbit = 38 Mice
Wow! Now that's a rabbit. These little guys are- well, not little at all! Ten times the size, ten times the luck, right? Feeding your Owlie one of these ensures their next litter will have at least three puppies- and you'll be able to keep track of three of them!
A Giant Norwegian mountain Rabbit allows you to have and keep three puppies from the next litter.
Clown Fish = 22 Mice
Did you know a Clown Fish can change its sex if it can't find a mate? These genetically modified Clown FIsh can do something quite similar- to an Owlie that makes it a snack!
A Clown Fish will change one Owlie's gender.
White Lab Rat = 50 Mice
Ew... where'd this even come from? These things are highly susceptible to mutations! They might be dangerous...
A White Lab Rat ensures that one offspring of the next litter of puppies will have a mutation.

Custom items are also available. Simpler things, such as a bracelet, could cost as little as 10 Mice. More complicated/larger items, such as pants or a hat or a steampunk faux limb could be much more expensive! Feel free to inquire as much as you would like beforehand.
