They are not yours, but they still stay in your hive. Probably because you feed them, or something, but you like to pretend it is because they love you. Sometimes they sing and you sing back, but this scares them off because you are a horrendous singer. You also like cats, because they are solitary creatures like you, but being the local bird-troll doesn't really mean you see many cats.
INVENTING is also a hobby of yours. Your hive is littered with gears and screws, so you have to watch your step. You are not very good at inventing, and have a habit of throwing your failed inventions out the window if they don't work. Which is often - inventing is not your forte.
You are not a very cheery person, and you are prone to blanking people who annoy you. If things aren't going your way, you have an uncanny knack of steering them back on to the 'right' track*. That is, if you actually talk to people. You are somewhat anti-social and like to avoid conversations. The fact that you are very short-tempered and impatient doesn't help that. Your temper does get you into trouble whenever you have to talk to other trolls, so you stick to the birds. At least they can't talk.
