Saltwater kelpies can be adopted by one human, of their choice, but they are very picky, and will try and eat all other's who try and own them, so choose wisely, and be careful, they are dangerous. c;

Saltwater kelpie's, are equine who live predominately in the ocean, and prey on humans, and animals, disguised as a beautiful and friendly horse, or pony. Once the human/animal comes in contact with their skin, it begins to mold around them, and become adhesive, sticking to them. Once the Saltwater Kelpie has you stuck, it gallops in to the sea, drowning its victims before eating them.

Saltwater kelpies are of NO relation to 'Bayou Kelpie's', owned by ~*Waffletastic!*~.
'Kelpies' are a well known mythical creature, not owned or credited to any one person's, like unicorns, and dragons.
The only changing factor, is the appearance, notice mine do not look exactly like
horses, and have many un-equine features, and unique traits, and do not resemble the bayou kelpie's, in anyway, besides equine anatomy.

»Anatomy/Features; Marine Equine

{ 16-18 hand's tall, very thin, and athletic. Their necks are rather thin, and hind end, a little sloped, unlike horses. They have webbed spines on their back's, tail bone, and elbow. Very messy mane, and tail, and bucked front teeth, with 1 canine poking out.

{ they come in grey's, whites and black's, only. They can have all equine markings, socks, facial markings, appy or paint coloring's etc. , but only in the 3 shades. They can have short, long, thick, thin, wavy or straight mane and tail. Their eye's can come in many color's, usually blue or green.

Saltwater kelpie's are carnivorous marine equines, that live in vast ocean's, around the world.
They are very adaptable, and can live in any climate, freezing, to boiling hot. They can olny survive in saltwater, NOT fresh, like saltwater fish, they'd get very sick and most likely die if they remained in the water. They can, however live out of water, for as long as 1 month, to find food. They tend to live in saltwater carvers and cave's near the ocean, and beach.
Kelpie's are carnivorous, and eat only meat, and flesh. They're favorite would be humans, but they do eat large animals, even small mammals, and for a snack, fish. To hunt their favorite prey, they can change forms, to a beautiful horse, luring their prey to them, in hopes that they jump on their back. When and if the prey fall's into it's trap, their skin becomes adhesive, trapping their prey on their back. Once they're sure the prey is stuck, they gallop into the ocean, drowning their victims before eating them. They're powerful, and intelligent hunters, feared by most.
In their average form, they're tall and thin, but very muscular. Their necks are long and stable, to hold a good sized head, where the nasal cavity is not covered in skin, but open, like a skull. Their front teeth buck out, and 2 canines are visible, along their very long mouth. Their coats are as normal equine, just slimy to the touch, and sticky of course.Their coats come in all black, white or grey's, with various equine markings, and possibly unnatural markings, though it's rare. Though they seem dull, their eye's are always a piercing color, most likely blue or green. Now, their spines can be any color, or design, but it is rare for them to be an unnatural color, but possible. Also rare, is feathering, but possible.

To adopt a Saltwater Kelpie, you must follow the rules before anything else, breaking them will automaticlly get you disqualified from any that you applied for before you broke them, and you'll be banned from adopting them for a week, then you can adopt again.
You must fill out the form that is posted on it's page, and fill it out.
It is encouraged that you make it fancy and add to the form, I love detail, not just random crap.
I pick someone who i think will use them as a character in art, roleplay, or stories, they must be used,
NOT HOARDED, if I see them collecting dust, I'll ask form them back..
If you are not the best with art, or writing, you can send a trade, of pet's and/or item's to me, instead of those, though, I'd rather have art and stories, you still have a fighting chance.
But, also be careful since you can only have so many, try for the ones you really like, not just because you want one, one that you like, because they'll all be a little different.
Try your best, and show me that you will use them, and I'm sure you'll get one c:
