There might be a lot, but please make sure to read them all.
If you are lazy, you can read the bold text. Just don't complain if you get confused. :B

• Do not use these as your fursona.
This basically means that you can't base your fursona on a daeet. I don't care if you adopted it, you simply can't.
However, you are allowed to get customs colored as your fursona.
Basing your fursona on your daeet will cause your daeets to be taken from you, and you won't be able to adopt another daeet until I say so.

• Do not steal a daeet that isn't yours.
This explains itself. How would you feel is someone stole your character? Please don't steal another persons daeet.
This will give you two strikes.

• Use proper punctuation and no chat speak.
This will make forms so much easier to read - and understand.
Failing to do so will give you a strike.

• Do not give your daeet to someone else when you don't want it any more.
Give it back to me instead, and I'll give it a nice home.
Giving your daeet to someone else without contacting me, gives you a strike.

• Do not answer a question or correct others unless you are part of the staff.
Answering a question or correcting others will give you two strikes.

• If you edit your form after posting, then copy the first and post it in the same message. I want to see both.
Out of pure curiosity, of course. Don't be scared of making it better, but I'd love to see the first one too.

• You can adopt one daeet per litter - and adopt as many as you want.
Bit please be aware that I don't give them out to everyone. If you have five and try out for the same daeet as someone with no daeets, the person with no daeet is most likely to get it.

• 5 strikes and you are temporarily banned from this sandbox.
No whining. If you get another 5 strikes, you will be permanently thrown out of the sandbox.

• Your daeet is only allowed to breed ONCE per turn.
If you want to breed the daeet more, then you have to wait 'till next time breedings opens.

• When the list is filled up, the breedings ends.
This means that, if I have put a waitinglist with 8 slots, there will only be 8 breedings. No whining, you just have to be patient.

Daeets are a mysterious species: And there might be some other variations of their looks.
So far, we have discovered two: The average one, and one much rarer(and smaller). The second one isn't named yet, as we haven't thought up a name yet.

It is a fact that all of the daeets are able to use magic, to a certain extend.
Read below for some information about the certain mutations:

» the female daeet «



The female daeet is long, with thin limbs and small feet.
Her hair seems to defy gravity. Actually, it is said that when the female daeets hair is limp and hangs down, she is sick.
The shiny eyes seems to be optional: While some daeets prefer to have a glowy eye, others don't.
Most daeets doesn't have a sash, but very few daeets choose to actually walk around with a sash - that seems to float like her hair. No one knows why they have chosen to do so, and even where the sash came from.
Other daeets seem to respect these females with a sash.
Records have shown that years ago, the ones with a sash would be considered high-status - and were the only ones who were able to become priestesses.

Most females doesn't do well with each other: They will start to fight, but none of them knows why. Maybe it's because they used to be hostile many, many years ago, while today they are more passive.

The female daeet have magic powers that are connected to the color of her pelt.

» the male daeet «



The male daeet is first of all much bigger than the female. He is more robust and his pelt is much thicker than the females.
The reason for that, is simply that the males prefer physical fights, instead of fighting using magic.
They have eight canine teeth instead of the normal four, but the rest of their teeth is much like a humans.
Their tails are never raised unless they are threatening each other.
The piercings are optional, but some daeets like the look of the shiny metal. Most usually those with "warm" and bright colors.

The male daeet likes to be in a larger group, and loves to sleep back-to-back with its friends. Almost none of them are hostile.

These rare daeets doesn't have any difference between the genders.
Not much is known about them, really.

They are extremely shy, but able to communicate with humans - unlike the "normal" breed.

Their coat can only be following colors: Any shade of red, any shade of yellow, any shade of orange, cobber and white/light gray.

The Festival of Falling Leaves|~

The End|~

The queen stood at her podium, looking out over those gathered around her. The last of the sacrifices had been burned and the event was coming to a close.
"Hello all!"
Her voice was high and light.
"Tonight marks the final day of the festival of falling leaves!
I thank all of you for attending our, long ceremonies and I hope you have learned things from your ancestors. Now it is time for the final sacrifice!"

The low thrum of drums began as the queen turned. And a bonfire was lit just a few feet from the stage on which she stood from. She slowly rhythmically made her way to the fire her sacrifice, a basket of fruits and gold, danced in the air as she walked. When she came before the fire she took hold of her sacrifice in her claws, and lifted it to the sky.
"I offer this gift, in the honor of the ancient kings and queens who came before me!"
Slowly she placed her sacrifice into the flames. They turned a deep gold as they hungrily ate it till it was nothing but ash.
The queen turned back to the crowd as the flames slowly turned back to their normal colors.

"So Ends the Festival of falling leaves"
A loud cheer rose from the crowd as the flames died down.

The end.

Or is it?|~

Suddenly, the flames sparked back to life. Not the normal color of fire nor that of the golden color from before. These flames were a deep red the color of blood. A loud shriek came from the crowd as a clawed hand reached out from within the flames towards Queen Lilliana. Who just stood there, a horrified look in her eyes.

● Iɳ Ɖαʀқɛɳɛɗ Sɧɑɗɵωʂ ●

In the shadowed forests of Mackthor there dwell a species unlike any other. A mixture of a ram, deer, and some sort of canine, they are as fierce and powerful as they appear. For millenia's they have been living as Factions. Each group with its own leader, beliefs, and way of life. However a problem has arisen. The factions are each becoming unsettled, whispers of deceit and ill intentions slip through the Daeet population. War seems inevitable, of the four factions the three smaller ones have joined into a tense and uneasy alliance, in a bid to destroy the largest Faction and claim more territory for themselves. Will they succumb to the pressure to fight? Or will a small band of Daeet's rise above the malice and violence, and attempt to quell the stirrings of rebellion and bring about peace?

Please NO posting guys, I'm still fixing this up, I've just straight copy and pasted Theos' original stuff, I need to fix it up, I THINK i'm going to allow all single strikes to fade away ( this means if you had more than one strike you will still have at lest ONE strike left. ) but all Bans will stand firm. Just because we have started with a new thread does not mean you get a second chance if you were banned, I feel this is undermining Theo's authority ^^
