Have you ever looked up into the night sky, and saw a bright light shooting across the mask of stars?
Have you ever wondered if it was something more than just a meteor or a shooting star?
Well, those are an ancient species I have recently discovered and named Space Runners. This is classified information that the government can't know about, and it's a privilege to own one of these creatures. Not many people have what it takes to own a Space Runner, are you a chosen one?

• • About the species • •

Space runners are born from a star. When there is trouble in outerspace, or when one is needed, a star will give up its energy and create a Space Runner. Once the star is almost out of every last bit of energy, a supernova occurs and the baby Space Runner is born! These babies are cared for and taught how to do their jobs by teachers.
Once they are grown and ready, they will be given a necklace with a gem to enhance their ability that they have succeeded most at.


Red = Fueling the sun
Blue= Keeping planets in orbit
Peach= Teacher
Yellow= Keeps the stars in place. [Suggested by Scarlet Glaceon]

They can run cross space without any support underneath them. They can also 'listen' to the stars. This does not mean talking to the stars. The stars give off certain vibration patterns when something is occuring in the universe, and Space Runner have learned to listen and understand these. They can also use this ability to know which star a new Space Runner is being born from.

A Space Runner's design is mostly based off of the star's life in which they were born from. Though, there are some cases where it is based off of other things such as Mars, constellations, etc. Their tails also help them navigate and move quickly and swiftly. They also have a metal plate on the front of their face. This is natural and helps to protect them.
There is usually no other place on their body that has metal because it would slow them down while they are performing their tasks. However, when a Space Runner is seriously injured, sometimes there is no other option than to replace the body part with metal.

But even though they're a species that have important jobs, they also love to cuddle with their owners! They're very loveable and loyal, and they'll build a strong bond with you. Sometimes they'll even take you to the little Space Runner village on a planet only they can find. If you have a positive relationship with a Space Runner, you can fly through outer space with them without worrying about exploding or being deprived of oxygen (courtesy of that necklace they wear c:).

There will be about two baby Space Runners available. You just fill out the form for which one you want, and your name will be put on the Slot list. A winner will be chosen randomly, and then the grown up version of the Space Runner will be revealed, and you will get the code to put in your signature, trading rules, etc.
