The original mentaer were made by beloved.. However, due to varying
circumstances, she decided to pass ownership of the species over to Satamoru.

Starting with a clean slate!
Let's try and keep it clear, shall we?

. Thread Rules .

- Do not claim this species as your own.

Mentaer are the property of beloved. and satamoru.

- If you no longer want you mentaer, return it to the thread.

Do not trade off or give away your mentaer.

- These belong on CS, no where else.

Do not post these on any sites outside of CS. You will be
reported.

- No prodding or complaining.

This is up to and including posts such as:
"When are you going to release more foxes?"
"Man I can't believe I missed another litter!"
"I'm never going to be able to adopt one of these!"

- Do not edit these without my permission.

Anyone caught editing their foxes without permission
will have their foxes revoked and will receive a warning.

- 2 Strikes and you're out.

If you break more then two rules, you will be banned
from the thread and all your foxes will be revoked.

. Adoption Rules .

- First come first serve.

The first correct form posted after "go" gets it.

- Do not post a form until I or one of the artists say go.

Even if a litter is up on the first page, you cannot post a form for them until one of us make a post saying "go".

- There is a full 3 day adoption limit.

This means if you adopt a fox on the 5th, you cannot adopt one again until the 9th.

- Do not under any circumstances edit your form until after the codes are given out.

I don't care if you misspell your username, misspell the code word, put the wrong number, ext. DO NOT EDIT IT. If you make a mistake, re-post the form. Any edited forms are instantly disqualified.

The foxes look like as if it was a hybrid between a maned wolf, due to their body structure, but they are classified as foxes than wolves due to similarities in their DNA structure. They have sturdy legs, great for long distance running than short. Their limbs are longer than usual, as well as their soft necks. Its muzzle and ears are pointed, allowing stronger abilities in smelling and hearing. All of the foxes have black eyes, with tints of different colors; probably another mysterious feature about them. What makes them special would be their wispy/fabric like tail, and the beads floating around their neck. The beads seems to glow in the color of the fox's attribute, its inner "soul". Each fox has a different attribute, which ranges from air, earth, fire, water, light, darkness, or time. This attribute helps the fox defend itself or hunt for prey. Their name comes from this magical attribute; mentaer means elemental. Except for their physical appearance and its "special features", their personalities are like a regular wild animal, hostile and unfriendly to humans/strangers.

Q: Do you do customs?

Yes; but they are extremely expensive, and the slots for them are rare.
The only other way to get a custom is if bel., aza or I are doing a live stream; in which case one of us may at any time say the first person to post a reference gets one for free. But it's only when we ask for a reference first!

Q: When does the next batch come out? / When are you making more foxes?

Whenever the artists have time to release a batch.
Do not post asking us! We will do them when we feel inspired!

Q: Can I help out on designs or become one of the staff members?

Only when staff applications are open; do not ask me when I will open them, and do not ask when they are closed.

Q: Can I bribe you/another staff member for something?

No.

Q: Can I adopt for someone else?

No.
Unless I give you special permission.

Q: Can I switch one of my foxes with another owner? We both agreed.

No, you may not.
You chose that fox to adopt, so stick with it.
If you don't want it anymore; send it to me instead so it can be rehomed.

Q: Can my strikes be taken away? I can bribe?

Yes, but only if you prove yourself that you understand the rules thoroughly.
You may not bribe.

Q: I only edited my form for the name/number/etc. so can I still have the fox?

Absolutely not.

Q: I didn't see the "taken" sign / the text it said about not being allowed to adopt ( or a certain fox). But I saw it now. So can you take the strike off?

No.
The texts are there for a reason, and you refused to read them whatever was the case.
I think you don't deserve the fox at all if you didn't even take a chance to take a look.

When adopting a fox, make sure you know which NUMBER you would like.

I would highly advice against putting a number without checking the front page first!
Sometimes we like to be sneaky and reserve a fox; if you post a number for a fox
that has been reserved, you will receive a strike.

There always will be 5 foxes per batch.

Breeding is closed

Breeding Costs: 1 Breeding Potion(per user)

Mentaer foxes breed for life. Keep that in mind when you read this.
There will be 5 baby foxes per litter, and each parents will get 1 baby fox from a litter. If the foxes you are breeding are both yours you will only get 1. After choosing, the others will be put up for adoption. Also, remember that foxes can breed more than once, or how many times they want to, as long as they mate with the same fox. If breeding with another user's fox, only 1 of the parents need to fill out a form in the thread, the other parent can pm me the form. You BOTH will need breeding potions.

Customs are closed

Customs Cost: - - -

Custom foxes are extremely rare.
We will only be opening customs once or twice a month on a random day. Only those who own a - - - will be allowed to order one on that day; if you do not own a - - -, you cannot take a slot! Your custom fox can have an unlimited amount of mutations, and will be made by Satamoru unless Bel or Aza want to claim it.
