Unless stated otherwise, games can only be played once a day.
Due to the nature of this event, it will be possible for multiple users to end up with the same Primal adoptable. That is, not all adoptables will be unique. Sorry. :B

Welcome to the Erosea adoptable summer dig event!

This is Erosea's first event, be excited. There'll be tons of stuff to give away for free.

This thread will contain useful information to help you out with the whole excavation thing.

Millions of years ago wild monsters roamed what is now Erosea, much fiercer than anything found today. These monsters put the Sun Dragons to shame in terms of size and could reduce a Storm Dragon to tears with a look.
Fossilised remains of these creatures - now termed Primals - can be found all over Erosea. An unusually high concentration of them are uncovered deep in the jungles of Essokyri.
If you're brave enough you can head out to the wild jungles and search for fossils for yourself. If you're very lucky and manage to find enough fossils to make a whole skeleton you can take them to the Summoners. Specalist magic users with the power to bring these fossils back to life.
Combine your basic (key) fossils with other parts to make a more complex creature, taint it with colour vials to give it a different pattern or trade them with others.

You can win fossils by participating in this thread and playing various games. They'll also be given out randomly to users who post in the thread or users who quote something first. There's a very special game you can play twice a day to collect some and a contest to win a special Primal!

Turn in your collected fossils here to have them Summoned into a scary primal monster!

You'll need to collect certain key fossils before you can use a Summon. If you want a more complex or different adoptable you'll need to wait until you've collected some extra fossils or other items. You can Summon for a small fee or use one of your keystones.
Key fossils need to match - you can't use a Kolit skull with a Tak ribcage. If compatible, any extra fossil can be used with any Primal.
Some Primals may come with wings or horns already, in that case the extra fossils will grant a different version.

For all Primals you'll need 4 limb fossils, as well as 1 skull, rib cage and tail fossil.

Here you can buy some of the more common fossils around, if you're not having any luck at the dig sites.
You can also buy a trowel and dig kit here if you haven't already won one. If you win one later on your gold will be refunded.

If you don't have any gold you can trade some for CS pets.

Keystone:
30 gold
Keystones can be used in place of any key fossil when Summoning. They are also accepted as payment for a Summoning.
If you had a Tak skull, ribcage and tail but no limbs you could subsitiute a limbs fossil for a keystone and complete your Summon.

Common fossils are available to buy. If you no longer want a fossil you can sell it to the shop for half the listed buy price.

For this game you'll need a trowel and a dig kit.
You can buy these items from the dig shop. Don't worry, they're cheap.
You may also have won these items from other games or events.

Once you have your trowel and dig kit you can pick an area to dig in. Once you have selected your area you can begin your dig. You will recieve a code to post in this thread. Once you've posted your code you will recieve your prize.
Prizes differ depending on the area you choose to dig in, make sure to dig in lots of different places to get all the fossils. But there's 4-5+ prizes per area. c:
You can also only dig once every six hours so choose carefully.

For Erosea's first contest you need to draw a picture of a Primal Kolit, Tak or Aqualla. Imagine what they'd look like millions of years ago and draw (or detailed describe) it. Turn them into dinosaurs, mammoths or any other prehistoric creature!
You can either draw your entry or describe it in lots of detail.

When the event ends (Currently 21st July, may be extended)

Depending on how many entries are submitted, prizes may apply for each category (Tak, Kolit and Aqualla).
