You are walking through a forest when you come to a mountain. There is a cave and a small creek. You go down the creek as you are very thirsty from your walking. You see a white creature with lavender musical notes on her fur. She looks up at you peacefully. "Hello traveler," she says, "Welcome to The Calyx Caves. I am Melody the leader over this area."

Lacerta Caudas or Lacerts for short, whose name came from 'Lizard Tail', can be found living at Calyx Caves. They are timid creatures although they are usually paired with the element of fire. This is because the actual caves are somewhat volcanic. They may seem shy at first, but can turn into loyal friends. Their stages of life is Egg, Child, and Adult.
Flits are butterfly like creatures. They are very energetic and harder to bond with because they are fairy creatures. They help spread what are called 'Magic Puffs.' They are little puffs of magic that keep it alive even though the use of magic had died out in the Lacerta breed.
You follow Melody as she heads towards the cave. "Travelers are usually welcomed here, but they must follow our code or we won't accept them in the caves," she states. Then, she notions toward a slab of rock with her tail. It has this engraved on it.

1. Follow all of Tess' rules.
2. Respect the choices of the leader, Melody.
3. Don't use the line art for anything other than display and reference.
4. Don't rush me into making your Lacert grow. Everything grows with time.
5. Please don't use chat speak. The Lacerts and I find it very hard to understand.
6. Only try to take one from each Lacert batch and each Flit batch. I'm sure others who want some will appreciate it!
7. Don't take a Lacert if it is not yours or if your form was denied or is still pending.

~Important Notes~
1. Lacerts are free to adopt, but Customs, Items, and Breeding are not.
2. If you are leaving CS or don't take care of your pet, it will go to Volcanic Heights.
3. You may breed with another person's pet use must have their permission. If you breed with another person you will each get to choose evenly from the 'litter' of eggs.
"Since you are new here I suppose I can give you a map," Melody suggests. She pulls out a map of Calyx Caves and hands it to you.
