You step into a forest, you feet taking you aimlessly throughout the woods. The air is cool, but not too cold. A small breeze catches your hair, your hair waving to the air. You then step on a twig, a loud crack echoed through the forest. A small yip was heard, and three small creatures busted from the leaves and landed on a nearby tree. You gasp, taken by surprise. You then squint your eyes, trying to get a better look at what they are.
You eyes then widened, a new found curiosity towards these wondrous creatures awakens.

Pearls are a sleek, fairy type creature. They are mostly known for the pearl type gem that is in their wings. Their colors are usually soft natural colors, though some have been known to have unusual markings. They have a sturdy strong body, and their legs are long and agile. Pearl wings are strong, but are light. Their wings can only be used to flown in short distances, but they are great for gliding for a long period of time. Long thick tails are used for their balance, and are also very flexible. Their tails help them stay on branches, since they can curl around them. Pearl's also have horns, but only on the males. They can be used for fighting, though mostly are there for show. Personality's of a pearl can differ, there's not a specific personality that they all share. Though, they can be very timid of larger animals, but they are also quite curious. They live in very large packs, mostly found in hollow trees and abandoned dens made by small animals. Know one knows on how they came here. Some think that they were created by humans, though no one has the proof.

[ D I E T ]

Pearl's are obnivores. They can eat either plants or animals. For meat, they will hunt down in groups ranging from 2-5, and hunt down small animals such as mice, birds, and sometimes rabbits. Pearl's eat a lot of meat, though they like to keep some fruit in their diet. They will eat practically any fruit, so long as its not poisonous.

[ H A B I T A T ]

Pearls live in all sorts of places. They can be found in holes in trees, abandoned underground dens made by rabbits or mice. Pearls live in packs, ranging from all types of numbers, though mostly seen in 10+ . Forests are were they are usually located at, but they have been known to be found in large fields, and in swampy regions. Pearls like a mild climate, and winters can be deadly to them.

[ R A N K I N G S ]

1. Elders
They are the oldest of the Pearls, and are the wisest. They lead the pack for the good. The alpha pearl, the leader, is usually a retired warrior. He knows what is best, and shall be also the wisest. The rest of the elders are look up too by others, and also help with the alphas decision making for the pack.

2. Warriors
Select number of Pearls can be warriors. They are the strongest, and most strategic of the pack. They are the ones that protect the pack from danger, and should not be afraid the face it.

3. Traders
Traders are a valuable part of the pack. They got out and trade with other Pearl packs, bartering for food, medicines, and items that might not be available to their pack. They are looked upon as adventurers too, and also can make peace treaty's.

4. Hunters/Gatherers
Simple. These Pearls help collect the food for the pack. The larger and stronger Pearls are the hunters, and the smaller Pearls are the gatherers.

5. Normal rank
A ranking for most of the pack. They do anything to help the pack, though they do not have a select place for them. They are the second to last on the ranking, though they are not looked down upon.

6. Loner
Loner is a bad sign for a Pearl. Loners are either born outside of a pack, or are kicked out. It can be a bad thing being a loner, since some packs will not accept you and are wary of you.

How to adopt~
Since i'm probably making these Pearls be apart of a RP, i'd like for the person to care for them and to also develop them as a excellent character of their's -
So, I am doing application rounds. Its simple enough, all I ask is about the Pearl and why you want him/her. There is no ending date for the applications, i'll just accept the one that I see fit. Though don't worry, I plan on everyone to get one eventually ^^

PLEASE go into detail with your Pearl. I like reading paragraphs about them, not little sentences
