Welcome stranger, it seems you've stumbled across the sacred land of the Faerres, Vinara.
What? You've never heard of the Faerres? How strange... well that's to be expected, they've been hiding from humanity for all these years and only recently have they finally decided to mingle with humans.

You see there? Sitting atop the highest structure in Vinara is the current queen of the Faerres, not many have heard her name as she only shares it with her most trusted therefore around Vinara she's often known and referred as 'The Queen'. The Queen's word is the law and every word and command must be carried out perfectly for The Queen's job is to keep Vinara and the Faerres safe.

Faerres are rumored to posses magic potential and it was recorded in Faerre's history that they were hunted near extinction due to a sudden increase in demands for their fur and magical abilities. To protect the remaining Faerres the old monarchs decided to hide Vinara from harm by creating thousands of layers of magical barriers; Vinara disappeared from the maps for millions of years. Soon everyone began to forget about the strange fox-like creatures, tales of the old became myths but they too were forgotten through the passing of time and Faerres themselves forgot how to communicate with the mortals. Until The Queen stepped up to the throne, The Queen decided that humans of this age have changed, she decided to risk raising the barriers of Vinara to let Faerres interact with humans lucky enough to stumble across the hidden land. To prevent the misfortunes of the past being repeated The Queen placed down several sacred rules, that none should betray their partner, that both must show and prove loyalty to one another and that no Faerre or partner should ever reveal the location of Vinara to others to protect the remaining Faerres.

Welcome to Vinara, do enjoy your stay here, and upon leaving this area, swear that you'll never mention this location to anyone else then you'll be always welcomed here~




The Faerres' culture gives one 3 chances, any action that breaks the rules/laws listed below results in a warning unless stated otherwise.
Three warnings and you'll be banned from Vinara forever.

1; Art theft is not tolerated here, once caught you'll be banned, you get no. second chances.

2; Keep spam to the minimum (We now have a spam thread! v look below!), no double posting (just edit previous post), whining about not getting a Faerre will ruin your reputation around Vinara, the Faerres might not near you next time

3; Respect all staff members, for they are the law.

4; Do not mini-mod, I'll call for mods when I need them, until then, keep your hands and your lips to yourself

5; Absolutely NO WHINING/ASKING when the next Faerre will appear. They appear when they like when I have TIME and whining will not get you far

Faerres (Fairs) are fox like creatures that reaches a maximum height of 1 ft (from tip of ears to bottom of front paws), they have a distinctive curl in their tails and was rumored to have once possess infinitive magic potential. Though through the years of isolation, the chances of magic potential being passed down had diminished without the care of humans, therefore only a selective few of the current generation possess magic.

Faerres once old enough will be assessed by The Queen and be assigned a job.


The Queen
The Queen of Faerre only discloses her name to only the ones that knows her best. She is considered as a young adult but is known as one of the best rulers of the Faerres so far. The coincidence of being born with two tails shows that she's one of the strongest in magical potential around Vinara currently. She is wise but often seen alone by herself. She is currently without a king.
There is only one Queen in Vinara


Faerre Commoners
They are most commonly seen at the Altar as more and more Faerres search for newer adventures. Commoners work as farmers, tailors and the more commonly jobs. They are without magical potential and they usually have a plainer coat. Their tails are distinctively thinner due to the fact that they usually handle dirty jobs therefore tend to trim off more fur to prevent their tails getting dirty.


Faerre Couriers
Couriers are the messengers of Vinara. Occasionally you'll find one running past you in a hurry as they rush to deliver packages and letters. Couriers usually have stronger limbs and have a stronger endurance due to the fact they have to run 'cross-country' daily. They are rarely seen without their precious backpack.


Faerre Warriors
They can be distinguished through the heavy swords they carry on their backs and the lack of curls in their tails. Strong Faerres are chosen to be the city's warriors, patrolling the area constantly and fighting off predators keeping the civilians safe. Upon joining the military they have sworn an oath to The Queen and is extremely loyal to her. Even if they leave Vinara with a human partner their first loyalty will be forever with The Queen and the human must accept that. The curls at the end of their tails are cut off as a symbol of their duty to the city and to mark them out from the rest.


Faerre Mages
Only a few selected few Faerres possess magic potential now a days, once a Faerre is discovered with magic potential they will be brought to a mage school to help develop their powers. Once graduated, a mage can do almost anything, they can be very helpful or very evil at the same time, therefore to prevent Mages using their powers recklessly, like warriors, upon graduation they have to swear an oath to The Queen and uphold it for the rest of their life. They are rarely seen without their book of magic and is constantly practicing their element for the better of Vinara. Due to their busy schedule and their thinly spread population Mages are rarely seen on the Altar.

[Taiyo]

In the middle of Vinara, a tall structure was built at the center of the bustling city. The majestic structure was built with oak and delicate carvings of Faerre myths covered every inch of this ancient building. That building would be known as the Altar. It is commonly used for festivals but every now and then when a Faerre seeks to leave Vinara for whatever reason, they will come to the Altar. Creatures that've stumbled into Vinara when a Faerre decides to go to the Altar gets a chance to interact with the Faerre in question and perhaps convince it to stay with them. Are you here to try your luck?

{ Convincing a Faerre }
A Faerre approaches the Altar and you've found this short trip around this mystical city enjoyable and fascinating, you really, really want to befriend a Faerre... Now's your chance! At the Altar, we'll announce (through the title) when a Faerre decides it's time they wish to leave Vinara to explore the outside world, a brief introduction of the Faerre and it's personality and demands will be posted here and its up to you to convince the Faerre that YOU'RE the best there is! Here are some tips to help you convince a Faerre!

- Put some effort into your 'form'. The minimum requirement is 1 paragraph.
- Do NOT control the Faerre on the altar. You control your character, and the Faerre will respond at the very end of the 'interviewing' period { treat it like a RP, you can control your character but not the 'Altar's character
- Read their introductions, it will tell you what the Faerre is like
- You're not limited to using humans, however the character you use must be your own
- Faerres do not always leave with a companion. Some will decide to remain in Vinara. Sometimes they will reappear to look for a companion, other times they won't.
- Faerres are always open to name suggestions but that doesn't mean they'll accept it!
- *Did you spot some special secret through their speech?

Items can be purchased from the shop to increase the chances of the Faerre getting convinced. If you failed to convince the Faerre the item will be returned to you. If you win, obviously, you'll lose the item.
After each round if you want feedback on your forms and how you could improve next time, feel free to PM me about it!

*IMPORTANT* It seems most of you are confused about the time ^^' I get it, after all we all live in different places! I will ALWAYS put up a warning 1 hour before the actually judging takes place, so look out for that! And if that still doesn't quell your worries, I live in HK, go on google and find HK's current time and date then you'll know when I'll be judging!

*Sometimes there will be hidden secrets buried in the introductory paragraphs of Faerres, pay attention and see if you can spot some 'secrets'!

It was night time when Sih finally chose to reveal herself. The Faerre stepped out into the moonlit stage, coat glittering and bathed in an ethereal glow and on closer look, one would find crushed gems sprinkled through her fur, reflecting and sparkling like tiny stars in a pelt of violet. The graceful Faerre paused on the stage, taking a deep breath to settle her nerves before she pinpointed her gaze at the far end of the crowd, seeing all but focused on none. "Good evening visitors to the land of Vinara. I am Sih." Tiny ears twitched atop her head as the tiny fox-like creature began pacing across the stage.

"I'm a collector of shiny things, I find myself drawn into the mysterious glitter and sparkles trapped within gems and stones. I've seen many gems, jewels and crystals of Vinara but I've yet to see some outside this land." Sih paused slightly before continuing in a softer voice, gentle eyes hooded as she faced the crowd. "Try my challenge. Bring me a gem that'll woo my pretty little heart and eyes."

Varies of objects hangs from the shop front that ranges from dull and worn out push-pins to glittering grand sculptures of famous Faerres. Search as you might but you can't seem to find the owner of this store only a worn out wooden notice on the table that reads:
Please put your payment on the table. Thank you.
Oh well. You might do as they say, wouldn't want that creepy doll over there tattle-taling would you?

"Go on, choose your merchandise, but do keep in mind that these orbs are hard to get, some might have side effects too. Buy them at your own risk." With that, the shopkeeper walked back into the darkness, her beady red eyes watching your every move...

In order to create a custom you must have a Custom Orb in your inventory to post a custom form. Keep in mind that Faerre linearts aren't exactly big, so not a lot of details can be compacted into that small lineart. I won't be responsible for Faerres that looks like the creator ate a rainbow and barfed on it just because you won't pay attention. NEVER ask when customs are open, you will earn a strike. To see if your 'custom' faerre will possess any magical potential, the random number generator will be used. If a number between 1-20 is chosen out of 100 (20% chance) then you have the option to choose the faerre mage lineart. If not, sorry, the mage lineart is not available~
