Name: Dulce' Cutter.

{Otherwise known as; Tarkie.

Species: English Setter.

The English Setter is one of the oldest breeds of gundog, with a history that traces back to the 14th century. It was developed over hundreds of years from the spaniel and was originally called a Setting Spaniel, used for finding and setting birds. They would be worked on moorland, ranging out freely in front of the hunter, quartering the ground and looking for birds. When located, they would crouch (or set) and remain motionless facing the birds, often lifting a paw to indicate the position of the quarry. The hunters would then approach and lay nets so that on a given command, the dogs would rise and drive the birds into the nets. Use of the net continued until the late 18th century, but as use of the gun replaced the net, the term Setting Spaniel was replaced by that of Setter. The original Setters were owned by noble families who kept them for their working abilities. There is no evidence of where these dogs originated, but it is quite likely that some were brought back from the Continent (Europe/Asia) following wars during those times. The Setters did not separate into the breeds we know today until the 19th century, although there were various recognised strains of Setter, named after the aristocratic families who kept them.

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?: I would like Dulce, because the moment he was donated I found myself eyeing him longingly. About a week went past and I couldn't think how I would give him a home and use him, and I couldn't. Then, I found myself winning my precious Kulan, at PoH, and then I just knew the two would fit into a story together- perfectly. All sorts of plots came flooding into my head, and I was so excited that I could finally try for this gorgeous character, knowing that he would be used and loved. If I got him, Dulce would have a home alongside Kulan, on their own thread away from my other characters. He would be drawn reguarly, and I would write about him often as a main character. I'd just love to have him!

Oh boy, you don't want to make this lad do something he doesn't want to. Dulce is very strong-willed, and known to hold his own in whatever arguments he finds himself in, even if he knows he is in the wrong. He is quite opinionated, and this can cause fricton in his social relationships- it is then that his truly stubborn side shines through. He'll argue his case like a dog with a bone [no pun intended x3]

Dulce is, to say the least, proud of his heritage. Born in rural England, he grew up somewhat in the spotlight- pressure from his parents was enormous and he found himself conforming to their expectations, not who he wanted himself to be. Dulce is one that finds losing difficult, as he is of a hugely competitive character. He enjoys proving himself to those that doubt him.

"Tarkie- it's ten o'clock already. When are you planning on waking up?"

A voice startled the young man from his sleep-drawn reverie. His violet eyes flicked upwards, landing upon the figure of his assistant, Sierra. Her unamused expression and the impatient tapping of her foot struck a chord with Dulce- he stood suddenly, sending a platter of untouched tea crashing to the ground. He cursed loudly, rubbing his eye with one fist.
"Language." Sierra said mildly, averting her gaze and placing one hand on her hip. "Dulce, surely you remember today's plans?" Her question was light, and Dulce carefully eyed her before calculating his reply.

"No..." He ventured, cringing at the furious look that cast over the woman's dainty features. "You cannot be serious- I wrote it down here, here and here!" With every 'here', Sierra thrust an armful of paperwork at him, her voice rising shrilly. "Honestly Tarkie, you need to know this! Today you're flying out to Australia for the office meeting on land ownership? Get dressed, get to the car, drive to the airport and don't you dare be late."

Without another word she slammed the door behind her.

Dulce grimaced, running a hand thoughtfully over the paperwork. Sierra was the only person exluding his parents, that he'd allow to speak to him like that. She had been employed by his family for three years now, and her fiery character, witty charm, and the ability to actually get the job done had secured her a place behind the walls of their estate.

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:
.:| Please just take one look at her and then at other pink characters. You see the difference? Amber has got such a pretty design that is very calming and absolutely charming. The little heart over her eyes I think is way too adorable, really. When I looked at her, my mind just exploded with millions of story I'd love to use her in-And not be too lazy to write like I normally would. I also admit it: My characters either end up with colors way too bright or completely natural, which I admit can get boring. Amber just makes you smile. I don't just like her. I'd basically worship her-If I won her, of course. The black eyes, the pink, and the white just tie all together into one beautiful package named Amber |:.

This is totally Amber. She always smiles and looks at what's great, not only what's good. Her positiveness tends to shine on others, making her big smile contagious. Even in the most dark, horrible situations Amber can find one little shine, one little bit of hope. She can find good in anything, even in the worst of people-Or wolves. Amber basically just can't see any shadow-Anywhere.

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?: I would love to keep him and put him in my Trade Settings and with all the other Adopted Art I have Adopted. Love him forever (Sorry these two Forums on this part are the same, its just that I'd do the same things for both of them )
Personality: Loving but is very strong willed and isn't afraid to admit it. lots of people and animals love him and he loves hanging out with them but is a loner sometimes as well
History: Skye was born in the wild of Nevada. His sire was the leader of the heard and his dam was the lead mare. His sire was captured and his mom became the leader of the herd. Sadly she passed away and when he took on leading the herd, the herd turned on him. When they turned on him he was forced to leave the heard.

He found a group of Bachellor Stallions and stayed with them for a long time until they either found a herd to lead or were captured by humans. Soon he became a loner and each attempt to get a family failed. Until one day he did find a herd and took charge of it. About a year later humans found him and his herd and caught all of them except him. He again became a loner and wandered for six months through the wilderness.

He was recently captured again and ended up in a slaughter house. A family knew that and quickly notified a rescue who went and met him just one day before he was scheduled to go to Slaughter. Thankfully they decided to buy him and saved him from a tragic end. The Rescue, "The Silver Lining Adoption Place" saved him for some family to take him home. Some of his trust has been earned but it still needs work, and he's willing to give it all for anyone who will take him on.
