The "What" and "Why"What will you use it for:
I'll use him for art and as a very loved character. I have a story going with all my characters and he'll obviously play a part in it if I can get him.
Why do you want it:
He is absolutely gorgeous and I fell in love with him right away. His colors go together perfectly and I love him!
On the InsidePersonality:
Oscar is very flamboyant and cocky. His nose is always into things it shouldn't be and his mind is always someplace in the clouds. He's a night in shining fur who can save anyone; no matter how dangerous or how many times he gets hurt. Never admitting defeat, he isn't one that is easy to get to back down and give up, and trying usually gets him to fight even harder.
Secrets are Meant for TellingHistory:His mother was his whole world.. She meant everything to him.. And then she was gone. Without warning, there was nobody left and Oscar found himself all alone. This happened when he was about a year ago, when he was almost a yearling. Up until then, his life was calm and normal; wake up with the others, play with the siblings, hunt with mom and dad, sleep, eat, move homes. But when he was alone, he found himself having trouble figuring out to do. There was nobody to play with, nobody to hunt with, nobody to sleep with, and no place to call "home."
Since the separation happened, he spent a few months looking around for his family but had no luck, and spent the rest of the time widening his strength and power. Behind all his cocky, annoying behavior is a kitten who wants to be taken in but is afraid to be left again and therefore won't let anyone know the real him."Mother?" The soft gold glow of eyes peered through the darkness of night, the wind brushing back his fur. Jowls parted into a large yawn as the teenager stretched. It was another bad dream. Something he was starting to get used to. Rolling over onto his back, paws splayed in the air, Oscar closed his eyes again to remember all that happened. This was easily done since the dream had been the same every time as a replay of what really happened.
It was a nice day, much like all the others. The sun was surrounded by soft, fluffy clouds, of which had shadows that were the current victims of the little ball of fluff. His mother watched from the nest, her paws folded in front of her as her kitten pounced and tumbled. Lowering her head to her paws, she closed her eyes as the sun warmed her fur.
Ignoring his mother’s constant warnings, Oscar sprinted away from the den once his mother’s attention was off of him. Tail streaming behind him, he bounded through the bushes, constantly getting further and further away. He was tired of sitting in the den. Running around in the clearing around it. He wanted to explore. He wanted to run.
Dark was falling, but he didn’t care. A night out would be fun! And if anything happened, he could just run on home. There wasn’t anything way out here that would hurt him! Those stories he was told were there just to scare the gullible kittens, right? When a loud clap of thunder sounded directly overhead, he knew that the darkness wasn’t because it was getting late, but because a storm was coming; and a big one at that. Dropping his tail, the young brute spun around and started going back in the way he came. It wasn’t until the rain started falling that he realized he hadn’t gone this way at all and that he had no idea where he was.
After a while, the storm was bad enough that he was soaked to his skin and he couldn’t see more than a foot in front of him. It was then that he decided it would be better to find shelter instead of finding his way back home. Finding a bush, he slunk under it, his body shuddering at the cold breeze that flew easily through his wet fur. Wrapping his tail around his body helped, but made him more wet at the same time. Resting his head on his paws, Oscar slowly fell asleep to the sound of falling rain.
When he awoke, the storm had passed, but there was water everywhere. Up on the slope he was resting on, there were only large puddles and small streams, but further down it led to bigger ones. Climbing out of the bush, he quickly shook off as much water as he could, his tail fluffing out like it usually does, before stretching. His orange eyes gazed around the land around him, looking for anything he knew. Seeing instead that the slope continued up, he opted for that to see if it would hold a better view. Lucky for him, it did. But not the view he wanted.
Grumbling, he yawned and shifted, already sore from his lying position.

Other:
After looking through the other applicants, I don't think I stand much of a chance, but hopefully I can make it better before the end-date.
