What will you use it for: Drawing practice, buy art of him until i'm broke, pretty much spoil the crap out of him with everything. As I type this, I am even currently working out a story about him in my head about his life.
Why do you want it: Because I love things that are different. And Crystinalian's are just that. They are just so gorgeous and amazing, I can't help but try my hand at getting one of these gorgeous creatures. Everything about them is just wonderful. This particular Crystinalian that I'm applying for is absolutely beautiful. I love the different shades of blue as well as his markings. Everything about him is wonderful.
Personality: Curious, adventurous, altruistic, amiable, and attentive. He loves exploring new places and pays close attention to detail. If there is even a remote possibility of some kind of adventure, he will be there. He cares for the well-being of others, friends or not. He will go out of his way to make those around him happy although some do find that rather annoying. Setka is the 'happy-go-lucky" type, always cheerful with a smile on his face. He especially loves things that puzzle the brain, things that you need to think on. He particularly loves dense forests and jungles to explore in. Setka is always moving, always doing something risky. Others call him crazy for the things he's done but to him, their fun and that's all he cares about.
Setka can also be bashful, although it's very rare. He loves talking to anyone and everyone, learning everything that he can. But only on very certain occasions is he reluctant to draw attention to himself. Also, he can be bossy and get to committed with something at times.
History: Living in the freezing snow capped mountains for most of his life, Setka has never cared for snow. That is partly why he prefers forests and jungles over anything else. His parents were the average Joe kind of parents but they taught him the ways of their species. Even as a cub, Setka loved going off on his own although it scared his mother to death. She was always worrying that he'd slip on the ice and fall off a cliff or some other exaggerated thing. Setka knew the dangers of living on the snow-capped mountains and tried to be as careful as he could although there were a few instances where he'd had close calls with his demise. As he grew older and was able to support himself, he went off on his own into the vast world to live his own life. He didn't know where he was going or why, but he was going somewhere. On his journey, he met countless other Crystinalians as well as the other creatures that inhabited the planet. He's had a few close encounters with humans but every time he'd come close to them, they'd try to go after his crystals that perched on his back and his pelt. So, in short, he learned very quickly that humans meant certain death for him. He avoids them as best as he can now. Setka has also came across towns and cities of his own species but none of them appealed to him as much as the wide open spaces of the wild have.
Other: After typing all that, I'm curious-er about this species and have a few questions that I didn't see answered anywhere... How did this species come to be? Like, were they here since the beginning of time or a science experiment released into the wild?
And do their crystals symbolize anything? I personally like the idea of the color of their crystal color's being influenced off their environment, but that's just me.
Also, after typing out the History for the Crystinalin I'm applying for this question came up several times, can they live anywhere or are they set to one specific type of environment?
