I’ve always loved autumn. Now where I live, we don’t have much of an autumn season. It’s either winter or summer here, but I’ve always dreamed of seeing the colors of the leaves changing up close. And the scarves and the sweaters come to store, and I always enjoy looking at those. The season of fall is also around Halloween, a favorite holiday of mine, because that’s the one day you get to dress up in real life, walk around, and nobody will question why. I hope one day to travel and see these things and feel that ‘cold, but not too cold’ weather during the full season. It’s always hot around here and I prefer cooler weather, even if it’s dark outside. It has been very rainy this week sadly, preventing outside activity, and that’s not the kind of ‘cool and dark outside’ I like.

My favorite season of them all is spring, for sure! It always brings a sort of excitement once the weather begins to warm up and the air finds this nostalgic, crisp smell. Personally, the smell reminds me of the new beginnings that spring represents. The birds begin to sing as soon as the sun reaches the horizon and the birdsong nearly drifts me back to sleep every morning. You know winter is over and the dull, burnt-out feeling of the middle of the school year is closer to coming to an end and you can rest easy knowing that summer will be here before you know it. Spring just brings so many new opportunities, its own sense of optimism, and a gateway for new memories and experiences to come without the stress cold weather brings. Speaking of weather, spring showers are always nice to watch and listen to as the rain makes the treebark turn dark, patters against the window, and collects on the grass. The birds still sing even through the gloomy weather. Every spring day is a new sting of excitement and I can't wait to see what this spring brings!

I really like fall the most, my birthday is in fall and its just a beautiful season all together. its never too hot or too cold, and you get to really enjoy the scenery. falling leaves, different yellow, orange and brown hues, and just raking up leaves and playing in them is always so fun. I do also prefer spring but fall is always my top number 1. going on a walk at sunset is always so breathtaking, the soft blowing wind, the colors of the trees and the way the sun projects makes it look even better every time. just looking into forests looks so pretty when the sun is almost at its lowest and the dark trees and colorful leaves is always so gorgeous.
