This specimen resembles the cerata on the sea slug Cratena peregrina, yet it does not appear to be from this planet. It survives, even thrives, in microgravity and ionizing radiation. It has retained its form and function in all range of temperatures and pressures. Just what is this... anomaly?

Did someone leave their lunch in here…? Well, however it came to be, this specimen is made of something similar to meat, but not quite. The specimen seems to posses the ability to grow more stalks (made of muscle, tendon, fat, skin, and other non-ossified cells), or ‘claws’ made of different types of bone. It is unclear if the ‘eyes’ at the ends of the aforementioned stalks can actually sense light, but they do seem to move a small amount each day. It also appears to be growing more and more appendages as it lays untouched in the lab fridge…
