I apologize for my lack of activity, been busy doing commissions and art trades, pffff ;~;

Anyway, I've closed the auction for bidding now and will go through the bids a couple of times more later before I decide a winner. :3
After that we should get back to normal with new deer to write for!

Black-cat, have you thought maybe that's why the prices are high? Maybe Paper knows how awesome these deer are and wants to regulate how many custom requests they get. It's great that everyone likes your work but it's really not any fun when you feel obligated to make every design someone wants you to make because you don't want to seem 'mean.' It's hard to balance your real life and responsibilities with your online life and responsibilities, especially when one becomes very demanding.

The only ones you have to pay to get are the customs, and Paper recently gave two of the custom stones away in a contest. I happily paid for both of my stones. If the price for a custom is too high for you, wait for regular adoptions to come out. Complaining and telling the artist how much their art is worth seems rather rude though. No one is forcing you to buy a deer.

Agreed... and for quality work like these deer, I think its well worth it! Paper does a wonderful job on the deer... we should just be glad that she even opened an art shop and allows us to order art from her. Drawing takes time out of a persons real life... and all they are asking for are a few virtual pets in exchange...We should just be glad she even has an art shop... Many really good artists have quit taking commission and closed there art shops because they got too busy/ people were scaming them etc. I personally love her art and am glad she has an art shop.^^ /end of spam/

Edit: And about all this with the wining over the price for custom deer;
It's rather simple, if the price is too high for you then don't buy one.
Telling a artist how to price their art is indeed rude and I don't appreciate hearing people begging and whine at me to lower it. "Time is money" as they say, though in this case I don't even ask for money, I do this in exchange for a couple of virtual pets, like someone already mentioned.
I put that price for a reason and that reason being that I don't want to drown under messages about getting a custom deer like I did in the beginning, having to go through them all and having to contact them again if it got accepted or not, this limits it all very well and having a set price like this also lower the confusion about what to offer for them.

There are free adoptables you can write for if you don't want to pay.

Whining about the price will only help you getting banned. That's it.

I am so excited about the customs coming. I disagree when you say that they are too exspensive, I find it rather cheap considering the amazing quality and the terrifying amout of work that goes into it. I'm sorry if I'm spamming, I do get a little carried away.
