♥♥ Bloom Dapple Has a New Home~

I've gone and stressed out so much the past couple of weeks that I've gotten myself sick. Darn you immune system.
I'm so aggravated being in my own skin when I'm ill, lol, my gf said she knows when I'm sick because I'm not on CS and drawing from the time I get home until bed.
For like 3 days I've really only checked in from my phone, choosing my bed vs. my computer chair. ;_;

I hope y'all don't get annoyed with me, I truly put nearly every ounce of my spare time into bloom dapple and my primary goal is just to please everyone who becomes a part of this thread. Even if there are short down times I don't want anyone to feel they are being ignored or worry that BD will close. That is nowhere in the plans. <3

SPECIAL ARTIST NOTICE!
It appears I need a temporary artist for the Dragons and I would also like to find someone to work with the canine base (that I have yet to name properly). I would like to take it over but I can't give up the rattums and the toucan quite yet so I will have to just post from the base occasionally. xD

If you apply to be an artist you get certain perks which can be subject to change to better serve you and/or BD.
They include:

-Auctioning a pet for CA or CS pets once per month.
-You are, however, expected to produce at least 4 designs to earn this monthly privilege. The more you produce the more goodies I'll try to give you! (like discounts when you adopt, or adding to your bank or possibly sending you wishlist pets, etc).
-It would also be extremely helpful if you could accept at least a couple spots for custom requests per month, these seems to be a very important aspect of Bloom Dapple and I simply can't handle it all on my own.
-If you accept customs I will add a percentage of the purchase cost to your bank.
-Also, for every 4 months you are active you get either a custom from me or you can design yourself a custom (obviously cost free).

The primary requirements to be an artist are:

-Easy Paint Tool Sai for coloring and merging layers.
-An understanding of working with layers.
-Photoshop or GIMP for editing text and saving as a transparent file.

Please keep in mind that this is currently a temporary/trial position to see how you do with the base provided. My objective is trying to match your style to a specific species, even if you're not chosen it doesn't mean that you aren't good it just means I felt someone suited the base better.

I'm very understanding of life presenting certain obstacles that take you away from BD responsibilities. Therefore I am attempting to supplement with other artists so that all the pressure is not on you.

Hopefully it's apparent that I'm trying very hard to keep everyone happy. I need help and honest hard workers to keep Bloom Dapple going. I would prefer established members apply, but if you are established somewhere that I am a member I will count that too. The payoff isn't entirely the point for me, giving something to the CS community that they enjoy is the point of Bloom Dapple.

I need someone who has entirely too much time on their hands and likes to play with codes to help me keep the archive up to date. I really enjoy doing it but it's too much for me to keep track of in addition to the bank and making pets.
I would like you to pick one of the special event pets (jellies, westies or marimo balls) and present to me how you would design and keep up the archive. Please keep in mind that special event pets do not have normal BD ID#s, they will be grouped separately based on their design (for example, bahama jellies will be their own group, nebula jellies their own, westies their own, etc).
You may not edit your application after it's been posted. Also don't try and copy some else's entry... I will be able to tell and that's not really the best way to win a place within the BD staff.

for the artist applications, do we NEED paint tool sai?
i use something that's equally as good as paint tool sai... and i can do all of that on it.
and i have GIMP. o.o?

Yes you can! :3

I would really prefer that Sai is used so that I can troubleshoot if need be, it allows you to keep the layers and effects looking right and allows you to merge them together seamlessly. However, if your designs just scream out to me for a particular base then I might try converting the file to some other format.

i do most of my designing on oekaki.

i've always wanted to be a part of bloom dapple. the bases are exquisite, and being able to freely design? i've never been able to do that before. i've always wanted to design things for sale, but can never get the right base for myself. i can't line very well, but i suppose i'm a good designer.
What bases would you most like to work with:
seeing as you want the person applying to either work with the new base or the dragon base, i'll put those in order.
see, i'd rather work with the new base than the dragons for some reason. i find the new base more... intriguing. although, i'm not too fond of dragons, so that's half of the reason why i would rather work with the canine base.
