This is my third form, but it most likely won't be finished by the code drop. XD I'll be working on it, but I'm going to focus mostly on my other two until the code drop, just so I can finish those two in time.
Username:4dogowner
Name:Hogarth
Gender:male
Species:Great Dane
Kennel Number:55
Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:First of all, I'm a sucker for brindle colored dogs. I just love them to death, along with really any naturally colored dog characters. <3 Second, I adore large breed dogs, such as Great Danes. These reasons are the basis of why I chose to make a form for this handsome boy. His brindle coat is what originally caught my eye, but because I was so intent on getting a pitbull character(Specifically, the tricolored one I'm trying for. XD), I was reluctant to start on a form for another one before getting far enough done with my others. But, as I have accomplished quite a lot with my other two forms, I decided to at least start one for this gorgeous boy. I only just thought up the perfect name for him: Hogarth. It just seems fitting.. X] Yes, now moving on from what I love about him, I would provide Hogarth, if I won him, with his own page on my character website, as I do with all of my characters. I would personally draw art of him, as well as buy it from other players. Stories would be written about him, and he'd certainly be roleplayed. He would most definitely not go to waste, as quite honestly, I don't think he'd be left without any additions to his page or new art or anything of the sort for very long. XD
Personality:
Forgetful-Hogarth, when a young puppy, suffered a blow to the head that somewhat damaged his hippocampus(the part of his brain that controls memory), causing him to become terribly forgetful. He usually cannot retain memories unless they are of major importance to him, and thus this often annoys others. He may forget having a conversation with someone, then repeat the whole thing as if he hadn't just told them.
Clumsy-Hogarth has been titled "A clumsy oaf" in his lifetime, and he doesn't understand why. He is quite a playful and sociable fellow, but his large size occasionally causes him to trip, collide with things, knock things over, and so much more when he gets excited. This usually results in the poor boy becoming ridiculed and terribly embarrassed, apologizing over and over again for whatever trouble he had caused others.
Apologetic-Hogarth is so used to doing things wrong that he often apologizes, even if not needed. He may see someone knock over something, then immediately cower and cry out,"I'm so sorry!" This seems to annoy people just as much as when he actually does do something wrong, and poor Hogarth often feels rejected and alone because of this.
Affectionate and Cuddly-Hogarth has few friends, so the ones he has, he adores. He is always immensely sweet and affectionate towards them, being more careful around them than strangers. He also is rather cuddly, often nuzzling or curling up with his buddies just because that's who he is:A big, clumsy, cuddly oaf. The friends he has really are true, which means that they forgive him for his mistakes, and look past the problems he has. They like him for who he is.
Wary-Because of the years of torment and ridicule Hogarth went through in his life, even from smaller, younger animals, he has become wary and frightful of most strangers he meets. Only when he has friends around to defend him does he feel confident and fearless, as he knows they won't leave him behind or join in on the bullying. Being alone makes him feel weak, no matter how much larger he is than whoever is harassing him.
History:The tall, young Great Dane padded carefully down the sidewalk, staying in the shadows near buildings whenever possible. He glanced around every now and then, but for the most part felt at peace. He was secure, for now. No dangers were around to pose threats to him, for now. But as he turned a corner, he found with a slight whine that that wasn't going to last. A small group of gangly looking canines stood crowded around an overturned garbage can, sifting through the garbage with their noses in search of food remnants. One looked up as Hogarth tried to creep away, and cackled,"Ha, hey boys, it's that horse again." The others looked up as well, and began laughing as well, barking out hurtful comments towards poor Hogarth as they crowded around him, keeping him trapped behind the wall of ridicule. He bowed his head dejectedly, waiting for them to run out of insults and mocking words and let him leave, but he knew it would be awhile before that happened. Everyone seemed to know about him out here, about his bad memory, his clumsiness, his submissive and weak temperment. There was seemingly an endless amount of fodder to supply their aggressive comments and actions.
Other: His first real friend would be my boy Togo, so his story/history is basically about how they met and such.
