Galien might not say this out loud, but he looks back fondly on the adventures that he and Azure have shared. As they stand there in front of the King, heads held high, ready to become Aronia Knights, he thinks back. They may argue, but they were always in tune when it came to those in need, spotting danger and acting quickly



The fact their accomplishments, no matter how big or small, had been recognised felt amazing, and Galien knew that Azure was feeling the same way. He even caught the wolfish Aero grinning to themself as they shined their armour one last time before they ascended to the throne room.

Azure was an interesting Aero, a rough exterior but a heart of gold. Galien was fierce and often moved without thinking, but Azure would keep him grounded (sometimes literally - Galien thinks back to when he fell out of that tree, saving the poor kid... Ouch! He unfortunately didn't always land on his feet.)

Whether it be crossing raging waters to explore a forgotten cave in search of a lost family heirloom, or traversing grassy plain or mountainous tracks to fend off some hardy theives and put a stop to their looting days, or simply finding a warm place to stay the night in the next town, Azure and Galien always had each others backs.

Galien and Azure are traveling along a forested path.. They’ve been traveling across Aronia for weeks, stopping in towns and offering their help to anyone who needs it.

“Where’s the trail mix? I could’ve sworn it was in my pack just last night..” Galien muttered while rifling through their pack with their orange nose.

Azure put their head down a bit. “Oh.. was that not shared trail mix?” They gave a little smile.

Galien stomped their front paws. “Azure! I told you it was mine! You know I hate your snacks! Now I have nothing to eat.”

Azure stopped on the path to face Galien. “Calm down! It’s not that big of a deal.. we can get you some more fancy treats the next time we’re in a town. You’ll survive a day without your mix!”

Galien narrowed his eyes and huffed out hus nose. “You- You jerk! You never think about how your actions affect other people! God I can’t stand to be traveling with you!”

Azure widened his eyes and snarled his mouth, about to say something even meaner when they were stopped by a meek “Help!! Anyone?” coming from the trees.

Galien snapped their head to look towards the noise, the argument would have to wait.

Both took off through the trees. The voice didn’t sound far.. but where was it?

“Help!! Hello? Help! I’m stuck!” The voice was right above them! A young aero, purple with green spots, was tangled in some branches high in a tree.

Galien acted fast, scrambling to get up the tree, but the branch beneath him snapped! He crashed down onto the forest floor, unhurt by landing on a pile of leaves.

“Woah! Watch it, are you okay?” Azure ran over to Galien, and helped them out of the leaves. Galien shook the excess leaves off.

“I’m okay. The leaves.. the leaves!” Both their eyes lit up as they realized how to help the young aero.

Galien called up encouraging words to the aero, telling them to hold on tight and how brave they are. Azure set to quick work, moving nearby piles into one big pile directly under the stuck kid.

When Azure was finished, they nodded to Galien. Galien called up to the little aero. “Okay buddy! You gotta trust us now.. you’re safe the let go! Try to wriggle yourself free, and you’ll fall safe and sound! I promise.”

The kid looked sick. Obviously scared to let go.

Azure yelled, “You got this! You’re so tough to get up there, and now it’s time to get down! It’s not too bad!”
The aero gulped and closed it’s eyes. It wriggled until the branches around it snapped and it fell through the air..

Poof!

Into the pile! Its little head popped up from the leaves.

Azure and Galien checked it over, making sure it’s all okay and unscathed. The little aero was pretty embarrassed but very grateful. It gave its thanks and scampered off down the road back to its village
The two aeros started walking again quietly.

“Hey- I’m sorry about the mix. I shouldn’t have eaten it.” Azure half-mumbled shyly.

Galien nodded. “Thanks, I’m sorry I snapped at you, I just get so upset when you do stuff like this, you know?”
Azure shrugged, embarrassed, “Yeah, I know. I’ll be more aware of it and knock it off. Sorry.”

Galien smiled and nuzzled against Azure’s shoulder. Azure flicked their tail affectionately.

The two kept traveling for a few days, their travels ended up getting the attention of the king! Soon to be knighted, they both remember their argument and the little aero they helped fondly.
