The cougar snapped at you as you approached, not letting you close enough to pick up the wolf, but GreenPelt got your message. GreenPelt howled trying to keep the cougar's attention on her, but the mountain lion saw you as a threat and needed to eliminate you before he could eat. The cougar swatted GreenPelt away as she tried to protect you. It then paced forward hoping to scare you off so that it didn't have to get its paws dirty.

I stood my ground and narrowed my eyes angrily that the big cat swatted Green Pelt away and growled though my teeth "bad move, kitty. no one hurts my wolves and gets away without a punishment" then I took of my shoes and tided them together with the laces and started to swing them about getting closer to the cat

The wild wolf was startled by your sudden act of aggression towards her as you tried to corner her with a stick. She saw this as a threat to her survival and leapt onto you with a menacing growl knocking you to the floor. Renegade took immediate action and flung himself at the wolf to protect you. The wild wolf, being already slightly injured, wasn't going to take any chances fight two different threats at once, so she fled through the fallen trees, back to the forest where there was cover.

{i think you may have misinterpreted what i had posted, I said that when I tried to thrust it at her it broke, it never made contact with her, but it's okay c:}

i got up, brushed myself off, and patted Renegade.
"thanks, bud. c'mon, let's go after her, i'm not giving up!"
and we trudged into the forest.

The mountain lion grabbed the other shoe with its jaws and tossed it to the side snarling at you. Green Pelt staggered to her feet urgently and nipped at the cougars heals to get its attention so that you could attack while the cougar was facing her.

Renegade trotted after you hoping that the wolf woul give you another chance to simply make it trust you. He took the lead and sniffed the air for traces of the wolf

The wolf over at you for a second before returning to cleaning his front paws with his tongue. He could smell your frustration in the air which set his fur slightly on edge, but he continued to mind his own business.

Fierceheart raised up her hand cautiously, knowing that this wolf could take her down like that. She then lightly touched his hind leg, attempting to pet him.

The wild wolf raised his head as you touched him, but he continued to mind his own business. The wolf didn't show any other signs of acknowledgement, but he seemed to have sort of stopped what he was doing as if to put some of his attention on you.

Renegade shook his head and continued to trot along beside you. He knew that after all the commotion, there would be no wolves left in the forest. There are no traces of the other wild wolf and Renegade began to wander back to your home.
