Ashely died of Cancer in her leg, she had to have an amputation and survived for a long time with only three legs to carry herself on. She is one of my heros, she never gave up and never let her complications stop her from loving her family and living life to the fullest. I had never met a dog so brave in my life, and this character, which I have dubbed A'Shen, after my precious dog, will be based on her. As you can probably tell, A'Shen will be a very cherished character of mine, he will forever remind me of my gently, kind, and brave dog, Ashely. I dearly miss her. <'3
