The clan is often devastated by erosion, as their piles sometimes collapse when enough sediment is pulled away.

About the Clan/Tribe: A clan terrorized for moons by powerful thunderstorms; stopped only when a large red-tailed hawk appeared directly after a storm. The bird perched in a tree that had been struck by lightning. The medicine cat, Finchleap, looked up and immediately recognized it as a sign fron star clan. Amidst the chaos, their leader Doestar's and deputy Hazelburn's bodies had been spotted, crushed under a large tree that had been uprooted. This left the clan with no leader, and no deputy. However, Finchleap wasn't scared. She ran to Hawkstorm, demanding that she come with her. Hawkstorm was reluctant, as she was grieving her leader and deputy, both of which were like family to her. Finchleap wouldn't have it though, and practically dragged Hawkstorm to the Mooncave. After struggling with the limbs blocking the entrance, the two she-cats entered the cave. Their paws were covered with water from the storm, and Hawkstorm worried about whether the two would be able to reach the main cave. Finchleap assured her, and the two finally reached the main cave. The crystals inside glimmered brilliantly, and the large crystal formations in the middle shimmered from the water on them. Hawkstorm stood before the crystal, and touched her nose to its cold surface. When she opened her eyes, she was met by Doestar and Hazelburn, along with others. She recieved her 9 lives and was hailed as Hawkstar.

Since then, Hawkstar had worked hard to prove that she is a good leader. Many cats doubted her ability, but she has done well in proving herself to the clan. She was able to convince the clan that in order to avoid these harsh storms, they would have to leave. Many cats refused, and still reside in old Hawkclan territory, but most came with her to help her build anew. While the new camp isn't far from the old one, it is much more protected by the forest and cliffsides. Finchleap still serves her leader well.

Notes for Hawkstar:
- Her brother Talonfang supported her the whole way, though a lot of the clan tried to say he would be a better leader.
- She doesn't know what she's doing.

Notes for the clan:
- It is against the warrior code to kill red-tailed hawks.
- Old camp: in half field half wodded area
- New camp: hidden by a cliff part of the way, dens in the woods this time

- The clan territory is located in a  thick forest which has ancient ruins of buildings and a pond with a stream of water

-the territory has many places to gather moss from

-The most common prey  they catch are(in order): mice,fish,rabbits and squirrels

-sometimes on special occasions( like when theres some sort of celebration) the clan gathers and eats  raspberries,blueberries and strawberries

-the most common predators are (in order): wolves,foxes and snakes


-the medicine cat title is split into two the healing half is refferred to as medic(s) - the half which talks to starclan and gets prophecies is called Star caller(s)

-the clans deputy rank is called Chief

-The cat who is a Chief doesnt actually get to lead the clan if the leader has an suitable heir chosen before the leader dies

- the chief  is more like a leaders helper

about the clan/tribe: little bend is settled in south-eastern wyoming (near the great plains biome present day) between the laramie mountains & north platte river (though little bend cats have different names for these).

the town of little bend (cat clan/tribe, called a town) is … western themed! cats frequently interact with wild horses and have even formed friendships with some. the town is semi-realistic with horse riding / controlling improbable but still a fun idea to throw around.

cats build, patrol, hunt, dig, and have a camp layout similar to a regular town (water well in the middle, rock hollows + logs for shelter, river flows down, semi-fence around main area). wyoming has 4 seasons but winter is the longest. cats from the area have adapted to have thicker coats to withstand elements & rougher, flatter paw pads & feet for the mountain terrain (though most is grassy / wild).

cats of little bend prioritize patrolling and exploring- their territory covers mountains & evergreen forests. rocks are often signs of trophy / age as they come in a wide variety and can be very beautiful. they are scavengers as well and pride themselves on items they have found (wagon wheel, antlers, etc). most believe charms are good luck and attach some to their fur permanently via sap if small enough or have it tied (multi-cat job).

ranks include: sheriff (leader), buckaroo (deputy), shrink (medicine cat), lil' shrink (medicine cat app.), wrangler (warrior), waddie (apprentice), & hoodlums (kits). ranks are from this website and do not follow the definitions (ex. hoodlum is for kits not cooks). most threats to little bend are criminal outlaws & other towns not on good terms.

these cats use a little more human language (ex. horses are horses). there is no real law system though there are “laws of the land” and a code to follow. names are often one word but shrinks have spiritual ties and thus get initiated through signs via bone scrying (think bone throwing- cats toss charms and read them). their names are often longer- such as “pebble that rolls down hill”, and hold great honor (similar to tribe cats in the books).
