Bog adopts started out slow and very quickly grew into something people were excited about. Granted, it was never
as popular as some of the other adopts out there (though I never expected it to be) but it gained some fans. So it is
to those fans (staff included) that I must apologize. Bog adopts is officially closing and leaving cs.

This is mainly in part to my hectic and crazy schedule, and partly due to my mental health. I would takes bi-weekly
breaks from Chicken Smoothie (and everything online) for my sanity because things began to get a little crazy for me.
While I enjoyed getting away from the mania of the internet and my ever-growing to do list, it was always waiting
there when I returned. It got so big that I became overwhelmed and started to give up on several projects that had
previously excited me. The weeks that I was online were already filled with depression and anxiety due to my real
life and when I came back to cs and all the other sites and had mountains of messages and tasks, it added to my
stress. So I took a break for a little while to get my real life back on track before focusing on the one on the screen.
Even this hiatus didn't help much. I still couldn't keep it all together and, although I was admittedly doing better than
before, I still felt anxious and stressed. I also felt selfish and rude for inadvertently placing the burden on staff shoulders.

So yes, Bog Adopts is officially closing. I must say, I'm sad to see it go and I didn't want this to be the end of the adopts but
I've realized and accepted the fact that I don't have the time and the energy right now to operate it. They had been getting
less and less attention anyways and I think their brief period of being adored by some was over. I enjoyed the ride but it's
coming to a close. Thank you to the staff and the people who supported us for bringing Bog Adopts to life.

For now, Bogs are a closed species. If you don't already have one you can't get one or make one yourself. If you are caught
with an un-authentic Bog there could be repercussions. Please respect this decision and the species and people who worked
so hard on it by following this rule. I may eventually make Bogs an open species where anyone can make their own. BUT...
for now keep what you have. Bogs may be traded or given away but not sold. You may not make money off of your Bog.

However, now that I am closing all of my adoptables I am hoping to focus on taking commissions (with less stress this time)
and maybe helping out with some other adoptables or at some point trying to create or re-open my own again, with less
management responsibilities. I still love to make them it's just the managing and running them that is hurting me.

Thank you to all the wonderful staff and people who made this journey (albeit short) so special. I really did enjoy working
with you guys and meeting you all definitely added some joy and silliness (the good kind) in my life. You're all very kind
and I hope we can talk again someday. Thanks for supporting Bog Adopts, and we bid you farewell.

BOG ADOPTS IS GETTING A REVAMP! V2 IS ON THE WAY!

If you are familiar with Bog Adopts, and maybe even if you aren't, you'll know we shut down a while
ago. However, thanks to the help of some friends//staff members, Bog Adopts V2 is on the way. The
species will be getting a massive revamp and opening up once more. There are some changes, though.

First of all, Bog Adopts will be transitioning into an Oekaki adopt. Lineart will be jointly completed by
.:aishiteru:., Skwigler, and Butters! (me). We believe that more people will enjoy Bog Adopts as an
Oekaki adopt. There will be a roleplay as well as a nursery and artist search.

The next big change is ownership. Bog Adopts is now joint-owned by .:aishiteru:. and I, but .:aishiteru:.
will be handling most of the questions/concerns. As the original creator of the species, I will certainly
be involved with Bog Adopts, though my contributions will mostly be 'backstage'. By this I mean that I
will be handling tasks that do not require me to answer questions and heavily interact with people on
the thread. I would still love to talk if you have questions or concerns, but .:aishiteru:. will be handling
the majority of these things. As of now, the team is made up of four previous staff members: .:aishiteru:.
as owner and artist, Butters! (me) as co-owner, artist and coder, Skwigler as artist, Mewlin as moderator.*

Bog Adopts will be much more organized and much larger. There will be easy access to all public information
and the adoption process will be simple. We are doing our absolute best to make Bog Adopts a user-friendly,
enjoyable place for everyone. We are on a mission to make amazing adopts and hope you will join us by
supporting the adopts once they open. You can find the start of the V2 thread by clicking here.

The last thing that I need to mention is that the Bog species itself will be going through some major changes.
While there is technically going to be a Bog Adopts V2, it will feature a Bog subspecies called Yinuma ( the
plural form being Yinumi). Yinumi are an evolved subspecies of Bog that have horns and a few other changes.
Since regular Bogs cannot magically transform themselves into the subspecies, we will not be transferring any
current Bogs onto the V2 lines. Please Pm .:aishiteru:. or I with any questions or concerns. Thank you.

*If you are interested in becoming part of the team, please visit this thread. We are searching for artists,
moderators and archivists at the moment. Most artists will be accepted after the adopts are up and an
artist search competition is set up through Oekaki. Intern Moderator positions are also available currently.
