I walk into the lab, waiting to pick out my first pokemon. As I walk through the rows, I stare in awe at all the pretty pokemon I could have. Soon passing row 2, I run and grab a adorable Ralts in my hands and twirl it around. Looking at the man who worked here. I asked him. "May I have this one please?"

Hyper has finished training in the gym! She gained 4 levels!

Hyper learned Bone Club!
(Remember though, this doesn't have any effect in your battle with Rakkun)[/center]

"Growl then use Double kick again!" Bae commaned and watched her Cubone take the moves.
"Take her next attack."

Spike's attack fell as he heard Hypers Growl vibrating in the ground.

"Spike MOVE!!" Rakkun shouted as Hyper took her first kick.

Spike was still hearing a bit of ringing in his ears from the Growl and couldn't hear Rakkun's voice. The First Kick landed on his Leg. And it almost bucked out from under him as he managed to doge the 2nd kick.

"Spike Turn and Run!!" Rakkun Yelled. She knew that now that he was hurt and his Attack was down he might be in a spot of trouble. As soon as spike had gotten far enough away Rakkun said " Now use howl to Restore your attack power, then run and jump on top of hyper and give her a Ember right in the eyes!!!" Rakkun thought "if only we could blind her for a second we would have a good chance at winning this thing."

Spike Howled and felt a rushing power engulf him he smirked and started running in on the attack. His leg was hurting him badly but he happily ignored the pain because he was having fun. He jumped into the air there was almost no stopping him now....

"Turn around but take it!Then use growl followed by Tailwhip and Double Kick at the same time!" Bae knew what to do. Hyper quickly turned around and took then heat. The cubone after took her moves...

This time spike ran away from Hyper as soon as she started Growl and easily avoided the Double Kick. With his Attack and Defense being lowered he understood that Hyper's trainer was repeating what she did last time by lowing his stats trying to get another hit on him.

"Use Howl to bring your attack back , then Use Leer to lower her defense and finally attack with ember!!! Make sure when your done your far away enough so that Hyper can't attack you, and if she moves towards you run away!!" Rakkun was playing it safe attacking and running was the best way to beat down this type of pokemon.

His howl once more Rushed his power back into him. Then he quickly ran by Hyper letting lose an ember and running off.

"Cubone, Cubone, Cubone, Cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-booooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeee!" Hyper growled.

Also: Ember has a 10% Chance to burn, How do we calculate that? Just asking cuz your jumping into flames >.<


Hyper's Double Kick's hit Spike in the side and sent him sprawling across the pin. He howled in pain as he landed and slid across the ground. At this point he was just trying to pick himself up off of the ground.

When you peak inside the tree house you see that inside is mostly empty. There is a wooden chest that might hold something, a small cot mattress on the floor, and a small shelf seems to be behind the... ridiculously small ninetales? Yes that is what you see lying on the leaf strewn ground, a ninetales that hardly looks the size of a growlithe. Next to it a red stone is crumbling. It would appear as if this pokemon has evolved much too early. Now it lays on the ground shivering and crying. What do you do?

(anther update, also you guys are being creative and all, and I love that, but please limit it to two moves a turn ^-^' also Bae you say you've got a plan, and I'm sure you do, but just know that beating your cubone down like this isn't the best thing for her since she isn't much of a fighter to begin with, if you keep letting her take damage turn after turn she might come to fear or hate you. As for you rakkun, make sure you aren't letting yourself dodge everything. Only one or two things have really hit so far, which is understandable because of his speed, but since he's jumping into this one it should probably hit, ne?

As for your new questions, I take the stat changes into consideration when calculating damage and yes, if cubone is successful in jumping straight into the flames, she is going to be burned. poor thing...)

The professor was really distracted by the battle now, but the assistant, helpful as ever, gives you a nod. "That one is quite a sweet little guy, but a bit clingy. The boys don't like him because he constantly wants to cling to your hand or pant legs. You should be able to handle him though. You might want to nickname him too."

After talking to you she walks up to the professor and bonks him on the head with her first. "Sate your bloodlust and pay attention once in a while will you!"

"It will help him, Trust me" Bae said putting the tablet into the food then putting it on the floor.

The professor sighed. "Oh well... Beautiful fighting both of you! I think you both did very well for your own styles." He smirked in Bae's direction. "I believe you both deserve a reward!" Meanwhile the assistant shook her head in pity. "No one should do that to their pokemon..." she muttered to herself, worrying about the future of the cubone. Even if this person was kind out of battle, in battle she was ruthless.
